Chapter Four

Lauren's Pov

"Ally wait up" I say rushing over to her and once she see's me she goes to bow and I stop her

"Princess what are you doing I must bow" She says

"No Ally I have known you all of my life and I'd like to think of us as friends so when it is just you and I and princess Normani and her Friend Dinah you do not have to bow to us because we are friends okay" I say and she gives me a confused look

"Are you sure?" She asks

"Yes Ally I am very sure" I say smiling walking with her around the garden area

"But why if you don't mind my asking Princess"

"Well Ally it's something Normani showed me if someone is your friend they should have to bow to you or be treated less than us even if you werent born royal" I give her a smile and she smiles back at me really big

"Well thank you princess that means so much to me" she says while watering the plants

"Ally remember that secret I told you when I was like 16" I ask whispering and she looks over to me quickly

"Yes has it gotten out to anyone if so I promise I did not tell anyone" she says quickly

"No no it hasnt gotten out but the feelings have come back but now for another" I say looking at the ground

"Who?" she asks

"The one who is soon to be crowned Queen" I say lowly

"Princess Normani" she says in a happy tone

"Yes" I say

"Yes what has your name been changed from Lauren to Normani" Normani says looking at me with a smile and my heart stops I hope she didnt hear what I said

"No I was just telling Ally how you have opened my eyes and that she does not have to bow to me anymore because she is a friend" I say smiling back at her still worried she heard

"Lauren thats great" She says rushing over to me and before I know it she wraps her arms around me and my body stiffens but soon relaxes and I hug her back holding her close and I feel her rest her head in the crook of my neck and I can feel her breath against it making me feel goosebumps all over and we stay this way for a good amount of time until Ally clears her throat and we let go of eachother

"What was that for?" I ask

"Well Im happy that you are seeing how everyone is the same royalty or not and also Dinah told me you had not been hugged in a long time so I wanted to hug you because I love hugs" She says smiling at me

"Well thank you princess but I think I am gonna take Autumn for a ride" I say walking towards the horses

"Wait can I come with you Normani asks and I wanna say no but my head starts to shake yes and she follows me

"Will you ride your own horse or would you like to ride on mine" I ask hoping she says her own

"I'm not very good at it so I will jsut ride with you if thats okay" She says and I give her a fake smile great now I have to be super close to her

Normani's Pov

"Lauren are you okay" I ask her noticing she has been much more quiet than usual

"Yes I am fine" she says as we speed up I grab onto her waist afraid to fall off

"Fuck Normani You wont fall" she says laughing

"I'm sorry I got scared" I say laughing loosing my grip on her

"It's fine don't worry I'll make sure you won't fall I'm not Chris " She says going deeper into the woods
