Chapter 17

I was still leaning at Auxdener. He stared at me, still holding my waist close to him. I slightly pushed him off and stepped back.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"N.O.Y.B." He said then smirked. I rolled my eyes at him and we went outside the dark corner.

"Where did you go earlier?" He asked, raising his eyebrow.

"To the mall?" I croaked. He leaned closer to me and frowned. I stepped back and sighed.

"Fine. I went to the clinic but it was close so I decided to go to the mall." I consoled.

He turned calm and hold my hand, intertwining. I went shocked at his sudden gesture. I feel the electricity build between us again. I tried to remove his hands but it was too tight. He smirked and continued walking.

See? I told you. Even if you tried not to feel anything, your heart will always search for it. For someone.

I sighed. My brain was right. I keep searching for it, for someone, for him.

"Than-kk you." I said, stamerring. He turned around to face me and smiled.

"You're always welcome, Wis." I smiled back. We walked silently until we reached the gate. The guard is nowhere to be seen. He sighed.

"What's wrong?" I said, raising my eyebrow in confusion.

"We had just reached the curfew. And if we both want to enter this without anyone noticing us, do what I say." I nodded. We past through the large walls and headed to the forest.

"Be careful. There are many quagmires here." I nodded in response.

I tiptoed, following to where Auxdener was stepping while holding my hand. I think I could get used with this. We reached a small gate, leading to the wayside inside the camp. He opened it slowly. I entered and he followed, closing the gate. We jogged through the entrance. He turned to look at me and smiled.

"Thank you."

"For what?" I asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion. "For letting me hold your hand." I blushed.

"You-rre welcome." I stammered.

"It's late. You need to go to your room."

I nodded in response and headed inside. When I reached my room, I put the paper bag at my drawer and remove my coat, as well as my clothing and went to the bathroom.

I slid down my pajamas and shirt after.

I jumped on my bed and stared at the ceiling. I smiled, remembering what happened earlier. I am going to share it with Domie tomorrow.

I turned around, facing the glass door. I feel my eyes getting heavy and sleep.

It was past twelve noon when I woke up. I turned around and saw a paper bag at the side of my bed. I reached for it and opened the seal, revealing some chocolate bars and a letter.

I think I just had melt, reading the paper.

I jumped out of my bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower. After taking a shower, I wore longsleeved and a denim shorts. I jogged outside and scanned the place. There were no Auxdener nor Domie to be seen but the trainees and James.
