Chapter 30

Betrayal...
Was something Raven experienced when Dean left her.
She never wanted anyone to feel like that again.
Vowed never to betray Dean or anyone like family.
But now here she sat.
Looking out the window.
Her eyes stared lifelessly outside at the people walking in the streets.
Roman had made an effort to talk to her about an hour ago.
He gave up once she refused to talk.
Her brother was at the gym but frankly she didn't want to see him.
It would make her heart shatter.
She hadn't betrayed them yet.
Frankly she didn't know how to.
Raven thought that she would wait till Seth did it.
Maybe it wouldn't be so bad. She didn't know why she was this sad.
Maybe it's because Betrayal is a horrible thing.
Or maybe it was because she knew deep down that Dean deserved it, in a way it was Karma for when he abandoned her with their abusive father.
But she had already abandoned Dean when she went back to her dad
Oh how stupid of her.
Her bedroom door opened.
She thought it was Roman or Dean.
But it wasn't.
It was Seth.
She refused the urge to roll her eyes to him to leave.
But he couldn't know what she knew.
"Apparently you've gone mute" Seth said to her with a grin on his face.
She didn't speak only stared out of the window.
He continued to try and speak to her.
Hell he even yelled.
But eventually gave up.
Raven knew that at one point she would have to talk. She was just waiting for her brother.
Raven hadn't eaten for a while.
That worried Roman.
He entered her room with food.
She looked at him and smiled.
She saw Roman as more of a big brother than her own. Roman took a seat next to her and looked out of the window with her. As she ate they both just looked outside at the people passing.
Fans going to the arena.
Her and Roman sat in a comfortable silence.
It was relaxing.
"Thank you Roman" she said he smiled and gave her a hug.
I'n Romans arms she forgot about AJ and Seth.
Everything in her mind left.
The big dog had that affect on her.
He protected her.
While I'n Deans arms all Raven could think about was her father. How dean hugged her after he abused her. She felt as if once Dean left her go she would get hit again.
While in Romans arms Raven imagined the look on Romans face when she left with the Club.
He would be annoyed and disappointed.
She didn't want that.
Maybe her would never speak to her again.
In that moment he wanted to tell him.
Everything.
But she couldn't.
He would be annoyed, furious.
It didn't help that Mr. Betrayer was in the room next to them.
She wanted to spend her remaining days with the Shield happy.
As if nothing was going to happen.
