Realizations and Talks

Start from the beginning

"That's my food." Luna called after her.

"Well it's coming this way!" Raven called over her shoulder, causing everyone but Luna and Raven to laugh and Luna to smile as she shook her head and stood to follow Raven out of the room.

I chuckled and shook my head, getting my own food as everyone else did the same.  We ate in relative silence and then went our own ways, Lexa deciding she wanted to bring me back to the bedroom.

I laughed at my girlfriend's antics, "What is it Lex?" I teased, grinning at her.

She smiled shyly and walked back over to me, placing a gentle kiss on my lips.  Humming contently I tilted my head to get a better angle.

Much to my irritation and amusement Lexa and I had just gotten our shirts (not even our bra and bindings) off when Raven burst in.

"My eyes!" She squealed, slapping her hands over her eyes as Luna followed her in and yelped at the sight, covering her own eyes and turning around.

I looked to Lexa, my eyes wide.  "They could've seen worse." Lexa said, blushing.

I nodded my agreement and we hurried to throw our shirts back on.  "We're decent." I said.

Raven split her fingers so that she could see us out of one eye, sighing and lowering her hands when she saw I was speaking the truth, "You're good Luna." She said, placing a kiss on her cheek,

Luna sighed and lowered her hands, "Next time we're knocking." She told Raven as she turned around.

Raven nodded her agreement, shuddering.

"What is it Rave?" I asked, slightly irritated that Lexa and I had been interrupted.

"Well, I was telling Luna about my leg and I wondered if you two have seen Murphy since he ran off with Jaha." Raven said, looking at me.

"Does Titus tying him to a chair and trying to frame him for shooting me count?" I asked, half joking.

"Wait.  What?" Luna said, frowning.

I sighed, this was going to be a long story.  "Long story short Titus somehow got a hold of Murphy and a gun and tried to shoot me so that I wouldn't distract Lexa and because," I tried to match his voice so that I could mock him more, "'to be Commander is to be alone'." I grinned when Lexa and Luna doubled over in laughter - my irritation forgotten.

"You sound...  Exactly like him." Luna wheezed, making me grin wider.

"So what happened to him?" Raven asked curiously.

I thought for a moment, "I actually don't know.  He stayed long enough to know Lexa would be okay and then took off.  He said something about needing to find someone before, and I quote, 'Idiots who can't understand that differences aren't bad get to her'." I said, shrugging.  I remember the moment clearly.

Flashback

I looked over at Murphy, who seemed anxious, "What is it?" I asked.

"I need to go if you don't need me here." He stated.

"Why?" I asked, curiousity getting the better of me.

"Because I need to find someone before idiots who can't understand differences aren't bad get to her.  If she gets hurt I will kill whoever does it and then myself." He said.

"Then go.  I can look after Lexa." I said.

He nodded and dashed off.

End of Flashback

"Who do you think it could be?  No one I know of was interested in him." Raven said curiously.

I shrugged, "I don't know.  Maybe someone he met after he left with Jaha."

"Again.  Who would date him?"

"Someone who sees a different side of him?" I offered, more of a question.

"Maybe.  I've only seen the good side of him once.  And that was after he shot me.  I don't know if I could deal with the other side of him most of the time though, I might strangle him." Raven said.

I shrugged again, "Maybe he's different around her?" I said, again in a question.

"Maybe.  Let's remember, this is Murphy.  The guy who drove a girl to jumping off a cliff." Raven said.

"I don't know!  He's John floating Murphy!  I don't understand how he works!" I exclaimed.

Lexa laughed, grinning at me.  "No one does." Raven said with such seriousness in her voice and face that it sounded more like she was saying that the sky was blue and the grass was green instead of what she actually was.

I giggled, "Seriously, you need to get out.  We were having fun.  We can talk about who would want to date Murphy, how they can stand him, and all that stuff later." I said, suddenly remembering what they'd interrupted.

"Yep, I'm not sticking around for this.  I'll be in our room." Luna said, then dashed out.

Raven shook her head, "Alright Clexa.  Try not to let the whole tower know what's going on." Raven said.

I grabbed the first object I found in my arm's reach - which was a cup - and threw it at her.  She managed to dodge it with a yelp and hurried out of the room.

"Now where were we?" I asked Lexa.

(So this was a bit more of a light-hearted fun chapter I hope/think.  Again, please remember about the information in The Ark chapter and give me feedback.  Thank you again.)
