Away-A Lapidot Story

Attempt

Lapis and Peridot were playing in the small lake, having fun, making jokes, and playing games. Lapis suddenly remembers her time as Malachite and goes on top of the water tower, Peridot gets out and runs to the water tower "Lapis! Are you ok?" "I-I'm fine! Go away! I'll come back later!" "...ok" Peridot walks back to the barn and sits down "It's just like how we started..." she whispered to herself before curling up in a little ball and watching the water tower.

In the morning Lapis flies down and walks in the barn, she looks at Peridot who is still in her little corner and picks the small gem. Peridot wakes up and looks at Lapis before hugging her "You're ok! You came back!" Lapis stared and Peridot before hugging her "I really mean that much to you?" Peridot nods and keeps hugging Lapis, when Peridot finally let go Lapis danced with her. Peridot who didn't know how to dance was confused by why Lapis would want to dance with her. Lapis' gem glowed and Peridot fell, she didn't want to hurt Lapis the Jasper did, she didn't want to make anymore bad memories with Lapis. The water gem looked at Peridot "Are you ok?" Peridot looks up at her "We almost fused..." Lapis sat down in front of the small gem "Peridot it's ok!" The small gem hugged Lapis, "I'm sorry" she whispered

"Peridot it's ok!"

"How?"

"Why do you think I was dancing with you?"

"I don't know!"

"I was trying to see fusion from a different angle."

"Oh... I didn't know that..."

"Clearly" Peridot looks down "sorry..."

"It's ok!"

"But-"

"Peridot if you finish that sentence I will slap you!" Peridot immediately shut her mouth. "Thank you..."
