"Ashley where the fuck are you?!" I heard the deep monotonous voice yell drunkenly. The sound of his voice made my blood turn into ice as I froze in my spot. Tyler looked at me with worry before he spoke up quietly. "Who's that?" He whispered. I bit my lip, my eyes instantly starting to water but I kept it at bay.
I took in a deep breath and gave him a poker face. "I need you to leave. Now." I told him, pushing the covers off of me and gathering Tyler's things. "What why? Who's that Ashley?" He asks. "Get the fuck out of my house Tyler. You're not wanted here." I hissed at him, shoving his shit against his chest. "ASHLEY!" The voice downstairs yelled.
I shoved Tyler's large form towards my window, unlocking it and opening it. "Out Tyler." I said. "Ashl-" "Tyler I don't fucking like you, I got a fuckin boyfriend and since you keep forgetting, I fucking hate you." I sneered. His nose flared in anger and he threw his stuff on my bed before he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me flush against him.
"If you fucking hate me so much why am I here in the first place? What happened yesterday in the kitchen huh? That wasn't fucking nothing. I know you fucking felt that." he said. "Felt what Tyler? Annoyance? Hate? Cuz I for sure feel that whenever you're around." I tell him, pushing against his bare chest. He tightened his hold, making my chest press against his.
"Bullshit Ashley. Stop giving me that bullshit that you're spewing. If you really felt that way I would've been kicked out the second you calmed down and we both know it." He grabbed my right wrist and brought my hand towards his chest, making my palm press against his beating heart that was hammering against his chest.
"You feel that? That always happens whenever I'm near you." He whispered as he pressed his forehead against mine. The moment was broken when there was slamming against my door. "ASHLEY GET THE FUCK OUT OF YOUR ROOM!" He yelled which made me flinch and unknowingly, wrap my arms around Tyler's waist as I dug my face into his neck, my body trembling.
"Sh... It's okay... Who is that Ashley?" Tyler whispers in my ear. "My d... dad Tyler..." I tell him, taking deep breaths. "The one who did those cuts on your stomach?" He asked quietly but I could hear the anger in his voice. "Yes but Tyler please... Don't do anything." I told him quickly.
"Why the fuck shouldn't I fuck him up?" He questions. "My brother." I told him. "I don't give a fuck about your brother." He tells me. I squeeze him as tear falls from my face onto his shoulder. "Please Tyler. I care about Elijah. Just... we just have to wait it out until he either leaves or passes out." I told him.
"Fine... Let's go back to your bed." I nodded and we both slowly moved back towards my bed, still holding each other. I climbed into my bed first immediately going under the covers then Tyler followed, going under the covers as well and brought me against his warm body.
I cuddled into him, listening to his rapid heartbeat as I tried to ignore my Dad's hands and maybe even feet banging against my door and his screams for me to come out. Soon enough after probably half an hour, the sounds were non-existent due to the fact that he left.
We knew that since the front door slammed pretty loudly and we heard my dad's old car pull out of the driveway and down the street. "You okay?" he asks and I nodded. "I think I need to stay at a friend's house or something." I told him with a sigh. I got out of bed and went straight to my bathroom and washed my face and teeth since I wasn't able to do it before.
I sighed and looked at my annoying crazy curly hair that stuck out everywhere. I gathered it all together and put it into a sloppy, tight ponytail. "You can stay at the gang house if you'd like." Tyler said I shook my head. "I got other friends Tyler." I said and headed towards my phone since I heard it buzz from my nightstand.
