Next morning
JOHN POV:
I walked downstairs to see dad sitting at the kitchen table with his head in his hands.
Nothing was in front of him but he looked pretty stressed.
I wondered why.
He looked up and seen me.
"Morning John" he said.
"Good morning" I said to him.
"Have you seen your sister Jade" he asked me.
"She went to ma house last night you said she could" I said to him as I opened the fridge.
I looked for something to eat.
"No I didn't she just left" he said with a sigh shaking his head.
"You think I'm hard on her" he asked.
I stayed quiet for a minute before answering.
"Yes" I said bluntly.
"When if come to things she's always last" I said him honestly.
He looked at me for a minute.
"I know I just don't want her to end up like me" he said lowly.
I looked at him confused.
"What do you mean" I asked him.
"Never mind don't be late for school" he said getting up.
He walked up the stairs not saying another word.
Kenya walked downstairs and I mentally rolled my eyes.
That lady is just a walking nightmare.
"Hello Johnathan" she said batting her eyelashes.
I gave her a nod and grabbed the milk.
"You want me to make breakfast for you" she asked.
"Nah I'm good" I said.
I'm not sure why she was trying to take our mom place so bad. But I honestly think if she wasn't pregnant, mom wouldn't be so civil with her and probably fight her and dad.
"Ok" she said.
I made me a bowl of cereal and put the things back.
I don't know why I but I have a bad feeling about today.
"Fuck you Jelena" I heard Temptress yelled as she came downstairs.
"Shut your hoe ass up" Jelena yelled back.
And what did I say.
"I know damn well you ain't talking about someone being a hoe you leech" Temptress yelled.
"Man it's to early in the morning to be yelling y'all going to be back talking to each other so cut the shit" I said to them.
AUGUST POV:
The sound of heard laughter woke me up. I got up and seen it was the tv. I turned off my tv and looked at the time. It was 6:45 in the morning.
I went to the bathroom and washed my face. I brushed my teeth and then walked out the bathroom.
