JADE POV:

Spring break was over and we were back in school. Me, Chris, and August have been getting close but I didn't forget about them and John did last Sunday. It was Wednesday and I couldn't wait for this week to be over.

"Jade hurry up before you get left" August yelled from outside.

I was running late and so was August so he was giving me a ride.

"Your not going to leave me" I said closing the door behind me.

I walked down the path to his car.

"Why John, Jamela, or Jelena drop you off or wake you up" he asked pulling off once I got in.

"John didn't stay home last night and Mela and Jelena are bitches so they didn't wake me up" I said putting my seatbelt on.

"Why are you late" I asked him.

"Had a long night" he said with a smirk.

"I'm confused why the smirk" I said looking at him.

I thought for second.

"Ewww Auggie that's nasty" I said to him.

"You truly have a innocence mind" he said with a laugh.

"No I don't" I said to him.

"Yea, yea, yea whatever you say" he said pulling in the school parking lot.

He parked the car. I got out.

"Aye lil ma" I heard someone yell.

That voice sounds so familiar.

I turned around to see DayDay.

"Don't even think about it" August said.

I looked at him then DayDay. He was with his friends

"You are no fun" I said as I walked with him.

He put his arm around my shoulder.

"I'm telling you, you'll thank me" he said.

I poked his side.

"No fun Auggie that's your new name" I said to him.

"That's what you think" he said to me.

We walked into school.

The bell rung and kids filled the hallway.

"August who is she" a girl came up to us.

Uh oh.

"Jade now excuse me" August said.

"So last night didn't mean shit" she said.

"Not at all baby girl just a bust" he said and we walked away.

"You really just did some fuck nigga shit" I said looking up to him.

"She knew the deal" August said with a shrug.

"Sure didn't look like it but you do you" I said moving his arm.

"See you later" I said.

"Don't tell me you mad" he said sucking his teeth.

"No like I said you do you I'm going to my looker" I said then I turned the corner.

I walked to my locker. I put my bag in and took out my geometry note book. I closed it then turned around only to meet DayDay.

"So you ignoring me now I texted you yesterday what's up" he said putting his hands on both sides on me so I wasn't able to move.
