Jungkook and I have been talking for about a month and a half now.

Today, I got this:

I was shocked; we rarely ever FaceTime and it never lasted long.

I was already on Facetime with my friend, Liz.

"Hey Liz, Kookie needs to talk to me. I'll call you back," I told her.

"Okay, bye."

She hung up, and I called Kookie. He answered almost instantly.

"You can hear me, right?"

—"Yup."

"Okay, good."

He sighed.

"Ugh, this really sucks..."

—"What does?"

"I um... I think I like someone... But whenever I try to talking I just get nervous and immediately back out."

—"Oh..."

"Ughhhhhhh... And I never get to see her. And even if I did, I wouldn't be able to talk to her."

—"Why not?"

"I feel really shy whenever I hear her voice... And I just can't help but text her constantly. I always get worried that I annoy her or make it seem like I talk to much. I don't even talk much I'm not sure why whenever I talk to her, I can't help but talk as much as I can."

I stayed silent, not sure of what to say. He seemed genuinely bothered about it, and he was talking too much.

"Uuggghhh. Why am I so shyyyyy? I think it's because she's so prettyyy.~"

I didn't say anything, I was slightly jealous of this girl now. I guess he noticed. He kept looking away from the screen, as if he regretted what he said.

"I just wish... I wasn't so shy. What should I doooo?~"

—I sighed deep, "Well Jungkook, I think you should talk to her. You're... attractive, funny, talented, and have a lovely personality. I doubt she'd turn you down. I don't know who would."

He was silent for a moment, red in the face. "Agh. Sorry for babbling, I just needed to get this out. Thanks for listening, (Y/N). I'll let you sleep now. Goodnight, love you."

—"Love you, too, Kookie. Goodnight."
