Chapter 23.5~ Lone Exploration (Video Game Store)

"That will be 3,000$" he sighed. I took my wallet out and placed 30 100$ bills on the counter. The man stared at the money then back at me. He didn't question it and just took the money. He then placed the console into a bag along with the game. "Have a nice day mam." I looked around the video game store. Everyone was staring at me. I felt extraordinarily awkward.

"Umm..." I grabbed Yoosung's arm and dragged him out of the store.

"That was... Very uncomfortable..." I said.

"Did you really just buy that?" Yoosung asked.

"Hmm... Yeah..." I said as I looked at the bag. "Here." I handed the bag to Yoosung.

"WHAT?!" he shouted.

"Shhh, if it's as rare as you say who knows what someone would do if they knew that's what's in this bag." I said, "Here."

"I can't accept it." he said.

"Too late." I said, "I already bought it."

"But.... I can't accept this."

"You can't or you won't?"

"I-"

"Take it." I said as I handed him the bag.

"You're not joking right?" He asked. .

"No, why would I be?" I asked, "I saw how disappointed you looked, I had to."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes."

"Really?"

"If you don't take it I'm going to give it to someone el-"

"No!" he said.

"Then take it." He reached out and took the bag. He just stared at it. Soon I felt myself being tackled.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" He said as he nuzzled into my shoulder. I smiled.

"No problem." I said, "But I better see an A+ on the next test of yours or I'll take it back."

"I promise!" he said as he looked up at me. His eyes sparkled with excitement. He looked like a puppy dog  if he were a dog his tail would be wagging like crazy.

"(Y/N)!" I looked over to see Luciel. He ran over to me. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING H-"

"SEVEN!" Yoosung shouted. Luciel looked over next to me.

"Yoosung?" He asked, "What are you doing h-"

"Look at what (2/n) got me!" He said as he showed him the game.

"YOU GOT HIM THAT?!"

"Yeah, why not?" I asked.

"BUT I-" I covered his mouth.

"I'll be right back." I said as I dragged him off.

"You can't say that infront of him. You'll make him feel bad."

"BUT!"

"Karma,  you locked me out of the house."

"That was an accident!" he pouted.

"Plus you could buy it for yourself." I said, "Yoosung doesn't have that kind of money."

"But..."

"No buts." I said, "You also need to pay me back for your new car." He didn't say anything.

"Also, Yoosung might need to stay over for the day."

"WHY?!" Luciel shouted.

"The people in that store kinda saw me give it to him and looked like they were about to murder him."

"..."

"Do you want him to die?"

"No.." he pouted, "I told you..."

"Told me what?" I asked.

"You've fallen for his cuteness..." he said, "This is why we couldn't have him over."

"It's just for a day." I said, "If you can put up with him I'll let you eat Honey Buddha Chips."

"f...fine."

"YAY!" I said, "Yoosung you ca-" I felt my hood being grabbed.

"But you're not going out of my sight." Luciel whispered into my ear. "Got it?" I nodded. "Good girl."
