Chapter 23.5~ Lone Exploration (Video Game Store)

"How much?"

"Almost 500 dollars, just for the game. It's supper rare, the console that it's used with  is even more." Yoosung said, "Way too much for a college student like myself." He sighed. I stared at him. He seemed slightly disappointed.

'Those eyes... He looks so sad.... No... Don't do it...'

"Where is it?" I asked.

"The game or the console?"

"Both." I said.

"Follow me." he said as he started to walk away. I trailed behind him.

"How's college going?" I asked.

"It's okay." he said.

"Don't you have class now?"

"No, luckily not." he said. "Well, this is it." he pointed to a large case that had three of the 'consoles'. "There extremely rare."

"Hmm.... Luciel has one of those sitting in the living room."

"What?!"

"Yeah... He ever uses it." I sighed, "It just sits there and collects dust." I said, "Hmm.... Anyway. Stay here, I'll be right back." I walked over to the counter.

"How may I help you." The man behind the counter asked.

"I would like to get the limited edition console you have in the case over there." I said as I pointed over to where I was previously.

"You sure?" he asked as he looked at me, "That's not cheap you know."

"Yeah, I'm sure." I said. He sighed and stood up. He walked over to the case.

"(2/n), what are you doing?" Yoosung asked as I walked over behind the man. I didn't answer him. The man unlocked the case and took one of the consoles out. He walked back over to the counter. "(2/n), what are you-"

"Come on." I said as I walked over to cash register.

"Wait, (2/n), what are you."

"Will that be all?" the man asked in his monotone voice.

"What's that game those people are playing?"

"That's the limited edition version of (Insert Game). There are only 20 published and we were able to get two copies of it."

"I would like to buy that too." The whole store turned quiet. No one said anything. It was like time stopped. The man behind the counter sighed stood up.

"Wait right here." He said as he walked away.

"(2/n), what are you doing?" Yoosung whispered. I didn't respond to him. The man came back and placed the game onto the counter.

"Is that all?"

"I believe so." I said.
