Part 70 - The End of the Games

Reader and the others end up meeting with the royal army as they tried to escape the castle. Realizing Arcadios and Yukino are missing, Mirajane turns the other way to look for Yukino. Reader, Wendy, Natsu, Lucy, Loke and the exceeds stay behind to fight off the royal guards.
"Let's handle this." says Natsu going for an attack towards to the army.
"Right behind you." says Loke joining Natsu.
Reader runs to follow them but feels her hand getting grabbed. Reader turns her head to see that it was Wendy.
"What's wrong, Wendy?"
"Be careful."
Reader smiles at Wendy.
"I will. So let's go fight these guys."
Wendy smiles then they both go to attack the army.
"Sky dragon roar!"
"Light multiple shreds!"
They all continue to fight off the army. The army then calls on some reinforcements to help them out. More of the army units show up.
"There's so many of them!" says Lucy next to future Lucy.
"We shouldn't have come this way." says future Lucy.
"Get out of the way!"
Reader hears Pantherlily yell. She turns around and then sees the acid guy from before. Cosmos then turns up and then Kamika.
"You were fools to think that you could beat us, the mighty executioners." says Kamika
The one Natsu defeated shows up as well. Natsu sees him.
"Give me a break. Again?" says Natsu angered.
"Looks like I have a second chance to beat this girl down." says reader looking at Kamika.
Kamika smiles.
"You're no demon. So good luck with that." says Kamika with a smirk.
Kamika releases her poison magic again towards reader.
"You're not getting me this time! Bright healing shine!"
Reader casts her spell which wipes out Kamika's poison spell.
"Yellow paper! Yellow lighting!"
Reader thinks back fast to the time with Laxus.

Flashback

Back at training with Laxus.
"You want me to what now?" reader asks looking at Laxus confused.
"I want you to absorb my lighting." says Laxus with a serious face.
"For what? and how am I suppose to do that?"
"For that spell you've been practicing. The solar comet spell, I think it needs a little more something."
"I'm guessing it's your lighting that you want to add."
"Yeah, think about it. You're an element magic user. If Natsu could absorb lighting, why not you?"
Reader looks at Laxus suspicious. 'Does he know about me being a slayer? Did master say something? hmm, nah.. like he said, I'm an element user.' reader thought. Reader then changes her face to a smile.
"Yeah!" reader says getting all hyped up "Let's do this! show me what to do, Laxus."
"Hahaha I like your enthusiasm." says Laxus smiling back.
Laxus then teaches her and they both work on her spell.

End of flashback

Reader let's the lighting hit her, she blocks it to let it stay around her as she swallows it.
Kamika looks shocked at reader absorbing the lighting.
Reader stops and starts coughing and spitting.
"Ugh! Yuck! What kind of lighting is that?! Tastes so weird and weak." says reader as her face shows disgust.
Kamika is angered by reader and her actions towards her spells. She then keeps attacking reader. Reader then fights back spell for spell, keeping up with Kamika. Everyone else is fighting off the other executioners along each other.

Back at the games.
Laxus looks at Jura with his arms crossed. Olga is still standing there as well.

At the stands where Fairy Tail members watch.
"Don't be afraid Laxus! I have complete and total faith in you!" yells Freed.
"I've never seen Laxus this nervous before! I wish (Y/N) was here." says Evergreen looking scared.
Everyone focuses on Laxus, Olga and Jura.

Back down to the 3 men.
Olga then challenges Jura first.
'He's walking right into his trap.' thought Laxus looking at how foolish Olga is going in for the first attack towards Jura.
"Here goes!" yells Olga "Lighting god charge particle cannon!"
Just then in a swift move. Jura has Olga knocked down on the ground with just one hit. Laxus is shocked by what he saw. Then Laxus thinks back to the fight with Natsu in the park.
'I've done the same thing before, why should I be shocked?' thought Laxus
"Now that's done." says Jura standing up straight then looks towards Laxus.
"Tch." scuffs Laxus
"I've been hoping I could fight with you, the grandson of Makarov." says Jura walking towards Laxus.
"Alright, you could stop right there." says Laxus as he takes off his coat "You could just forget about your fancy title and who I'm related to. You and I are just two men."
"So be it.. nice eyes." says Jura
Laxus then goes in for an attack on Jura. Jura then quickly knocks down Laxus with one blow, just like he did with Olga. Everyone in the crowd is shocked again as Laxus is face down on the ground below Jura.
