Light and Lightning (LaxusXreader)

Part 7 - Goodbye Laxus

While Fairy tail plans the parade. In the park of town there is Laxus saying his goodbyes to the thunder legion.
"Noo. You must be joking? Why would he kick you out but not the rest of us?!" yells Evergreen.
"We're just as guilty as you are!" says Bixlow.
"Guess the old man doesn't see it that way." says Laxus.
Evergreen and Bixlow continue to complain.
"You guys can be a pain in the neck" says Laxus "can't you guys just say good bye and be done with it?"
The guys start talking again wanting to quit. Laxus turns around to walk away.
"What will happen to the thunder legion?" asked Bixlow.
Laxus stops.
"I have a request for my bodyguards." says Laxus.
"What is it Laxus?" askes Freed.
"Take care of that little light mage. Protect her. She may be strong but she's still helpless." Laxus says.
"What? That little brat who blinded me before the battle?" askes Evergreen.
"That's the one. Take care of yourselves." Laxus says as he starts to walk again.
As Laxus is further the thunder legion are quiet.
"I have a feeling we'll meet again, Laxus." says Freed.
"Guess our number one priority is to look after 'pretty face' hahaha" says Bixlow.
"She has a name you know." says Evergreen.
"Oh yeah? Then what is it?" askes Bixlow.
Evergreen and Bixlow both go quiet, thinking.
Freed sighs then says "Let's go find (Y/N). Come on."
"Yeah! That's her name!" says Bixlow. "(Y/N) (Y/N)!"
"I prefer to call her brat." Evergreen laughs following along.

Reader is getting ready to leave the infirmary after talking with Erza and being perfectly healed by Porlyusica. Right when reader opens the door to leave the room, there stands the thunder legion looking at her. Reader is surprised then worried.
"What do you want?" askes reader a little mad.
"Whoa little lady, we're here to look after you." says Bixlow. "Look after you! Look after you!"
"Screw off, I'm in no mood for jokes." Reader says trying to walk away.
"Stop!" says Freed.
Reader stops then turns around and looks at the thunder legion.
"We are here to protect to you, miss (Y/N)." says Freed bowing his head.
Reader looks confused then looks at Evergreen. Evergreen is looking away then looks at reader, then rolls her eyes.
"Okay I'm sorry for calling you a brat earlier." says Evergreen.
Reader is surprised by all this especailly with Evergreen apologizing.
"You guys are serious..?" askes reader.
"Yup, we will be your bodyguards from now on." says Bixlow "from now on! from now on!"
"Where's Laxus?" askes reader.
They go quiet and have sad looks in their eyes.
"He died?!" says reader.
"What? No! He's just-" says Freed hysterically.
"I was joking." Reader says cutting of Freed."Please don't make those sad looks again. It'll bum me out. I already know he's suppose to be leaving."
"My apologies." says Freed straightening out.
"Let's get our parade on!" says reader giving a big smile to the thunder legion.
"We'll pass, but you can participate. Don't think the guild would be to pleased with us being there right after what we've done." says Freed.
"I'm sure they won't mind. You are still a part of Fairy Tail. I might not have been here long but I sense that things will be fine." says reader.
"Okay, let's check it out!" says Bixlow.
The four walk down to the main floor and see the rest of the guild getting ready for the parade. Erza sees them coming down the steps.
"Glad to have you four joins us." says Erza.
"How are you feeling, (Y/N)?" Levy askes.
"All better! I can't wait to be in the parade! With my bodyguards too!" Reader says teasing the thunder legion.
"Bodyguards?!" Lucy says surprised.
Reader laughs "I'm kidding.. kind of, but they are watching over me now."
"This true?" askes Erza.
"Yes." says Freed.
"You three will take very good care of her. I trust you will." says Erza.
"Thank you. That means so much that we have your trust after what we've done." says Freed.
"We're sorry guys." Says Bixlow "were sorry, we're sorry!"
"Yeah." says Evergreen.
"Your apologies are accepted." says Erza then she smiles at the thunder legion "Let's make this parade the best one!"

During the parade, reader and the thunder legion shared a float to stand on and perform magic tricks. Reader and Evergreen decide to do a light show with Bixlow and Freed.
"So you guys are really looking after me, so weird." says reader.
"Oh you'll grow to love us." says Evergreen teasing.
"Let's out on a show!" says Freed excited.
The girls giggle at Freed then they start do the light show.
