I write these words down, line by line,
To get them out of my head,
But when I remember the hateful day,
These feelings cross my mind again,
You left me alone on the cold floor,
To follow your selfish desires,
To close this feeling of friendship behind the door,
And let it be consumed in the deadly fire,
I did everything I could to steer you from wrong,
But my words didn't reach you,
I tried, they tried, we tried everything the could be done,
But you ignored them all, there was nothing we could do,
Sometimes I wish these feelings would go away,
So I wouldn't have to write these words again,
I wish they didn't take you that day,
Now the pain won't go away...
