It always seem to amaze me how quickly change occurs,
It happens so fast as days fly past,
And makes your mind a blur.
Like a constant flowing river of icy cold water,
Like the tide change bringing new life,
Like the wind blowing in the air,
But this time it's just not fair.
Yet, I must accept the change.
Because change is a part of life,
Like the seasons of this world,
Nothing ever really lasts,
It all moves too quickly,
And cuts you like a knife.
