Chapter 16.5~ Gentleman

Start from the beginning

"That's convenient." I chuckled.

"It sure is." Luciel said.

Once we go to the bus stop I sat down on the bench. Luciel took a map of the bus route and started to study it.

"The place we're headed is the third stop, there's a mall in the city so we can go there." I nodded, "While we're there I should probably buy a car."

"A car? Why?" I asked.

"Well, do you want to take the bus everywhere?" he asked.

"No..." I sighed.

"Well than we're getting a car."

"Okay!"

"Now that I think of it, do you know how to drive?" He asked.

"Hmmm.... No, but how hard could it be?" I asked.

"Once I get the car I'll teach you." He offered. I nodded.

"Okay!" I looked down the street. "Oh there's the bus!" I said.

"Good." We walked up to the bus. The doors opened. We walked on. Luciel dropped in five dollars into the box. The machine printed out two tickets. He took them and walked to the back of the bus. There were two seats at the back of the bus. I followed behind him as he walked over to them.

We both sat down in the two empty seats. .

"So what exactly are we getting?" I whispered to him.

"We'll need to get a bunch of furniture, kitchen supplies, flooring, paints, a bunch of things."

"Beds?" I asked eagerly.

"Yes, (Y/n), beds." he chuckled. The bus soon came to a stop. I looked over to see a group of people walk on to the bus. They all held onto the bar that was connected to the roof of the bus. I soon noticed an older lady walk onto the bus as well. She walked to the back of the bus looking for a seat. I felt bad.

"Excuse me." I said, she looked over to me. I stood up, "Here."

"Oh, it's quite alright, I can stand."

"No, please sit." I said.

"Well, if you insist." She hobbled over and sat down. "You are very kind." She said with a smile. Luciel stood up as well. Luciel grabbed a hold of the bar that was connected to the top of the bus, while me, on the other hand, was not able to reach that high, leaving me holding onto the pole that came down form it.

"You didn't need to stand up." I said to Luciel.

"I know, but I wanted to." He said, "
(Y/n), you're too kind."

"Well, no one else was offering their seat, plus she's old."

"Ya, but still."

"And here I was thinking you were a gentleman." I said teasingly.

"I am a gentleman."

"Yup, a gentleman who installed tracking devices on all of my shirts."

"That was to make sure I knew where you are just in case something happens."

"Ya right..." I said, "Stalker." I whispered as I turned my back and crossed my arms, letting go of the bar.

"We live in the same house!"

"That doesn't mean you can't stalk m- gahh!" I yelped as I fell forward. I braced for impact, but it never came. I opened my eyes to see Luciel's face. His arm was wrapped around my waste preventing me from falling.

"if I weren't a gentleman I would have let you fall." He said as he pulled me up. I regained my balance grabbed a hold of the pole.

"No, that's just called human decency." as I crossed my arms again. "OWW!" I yelped as Luciel flicked my forehead. "What was that for?!"

"Keep your hand of the bar, dummy." he sighed.

"I'm not in dummy!" I pouted as I grabbed a hold of the pole. He ruffled my hair.

"Sure you're not." he said with a sly grin.

"Jerk."
