"I can't believe you're smiling" Zuko sulks, trailing beside me "I thought you hated this place."

"We finally don't have to worry about people wanting to kill us, we can finally relax, somewhat" I grin, smelling in the wretched air. People ran about the streets, their clothes dirty and worn down to nothing. Now I was grateful for the clothes Ruby had gotten me, even through it did itch.

We had only been in the city for a few days, and my sour mood was put out by Grandpa's cheery smile.  Grandpa managed to find a small apartment where all of us lived. It was small, but better than a tent in the middle of nowhere.

"I don't want to make a life here. The sooner we can get out of here, the better" Zuko seethes, looking around at the people.

"Relax" I say more quietly "No one suspects anything. We're fine."

Letting out a huff, he looks over to Grandpa, who carries a large, and bright pot full of flowers. "I just want our place to look nice, in case someone brings home a lady friend!" he chuckles, elbowing Zuko as we walk.

"This city is a prison. I hate it here" he growls in response.

Smiling, Grandpa nods towards my cousin "Life happens wherever you are, whether you make it or not. Now come on, I found us some new jobs, and we start this afternoon!"

My smile fads in an instant. What could Grandpa manage to find this quickly? Noticing my expression, Zuko chuckles as we make our way through the city.

Soon enough, we arrive at a small building. A tea cup decorating the front.

"Ah! Welcome! Welcome!" a man grins as we walk into the Tea Shop "My name is Pao, and I assume you're the three looking for jobs."

"Indeed" I smile, holding out my hand "My name is Jasmine, and that's my cousin Lee and Grandfather Mushi." Taking my hand, we share a firm handshake.

"Well, your name certainly goes along with the shop" Pao chuckles, calming himself down quickly "Now, Lee and Jasmine can serve to the customers, while Mushi can help me with brewing tea."

"That sounds wonderful" Grandpa nods. Grinning, Pao hands out several aprons. I quickly tie mine around my waist, before helping Zuko tie his own.

Grandpa on the otherhand was a bit too large for his, the strings never getting a chance to meet. Sighing in defeat, he lets the strings fall.

"Well, you certainly look like official tea servers. How do you feel‌?"

"Ridiculous" Zuko seethes.

"Uh, does this possibly come in a larger size?" Grandpa questions sadly. "I have some extra string in the back. Have some tea why you wait" Pao grins, before pouring some tea.

Taking a sip, I instantly gag, spitting the tea back into it's cup. "This is worse than yours" I sneer, glaring at Zuko, who also spits out his tea.
