Chapter 13.5~ Rules

"You're lucky she's here Agent Vanderwood." The man shouted at Vanderwood.

"I'm sorry sir."

"Sorry doesn't mean anything! She could have escaped! I trusted you to look over her and you-"

"Excuse me sir." I said as the older man looked up at me.

"What is it?"

"Sorry to interrupt you but it was my fault." I said, "I was being very difficult to handle so he left me with Luciel. It is my fault. I'm sorry."

"Hmf, apology accepted. Agent Vanderwood, next time if you are having difficulty notice me and I will handle it." The man said, "You are dismissed." Vanderwood nodded and stood up. He walked over to the door and left.

"Agent 707, thank you for looking after (Y/n), please notify me next time when you are showing someone around."

"Yes sir."

"You are dismissed." He said, Luciel walked out of the room leaving me alone with the man.

"(Y/n), please have a seat." I nodded and walked over to the seat. "We have a lot to discuss." He said as he picked up a pen.
"First of all you will need an agent name so your true identity is not revealed. Do you have any ideas?"

"Before when I worked for other people I was referred to as Agent 404."

"Okay, you will also need a new name, especially to conceal your past."

"You know about that?!" I asked, shocked.

"Of course. I must know everyone's background before they are allowed to join." He said as he tapped the pen on the desk. "So, what will be your new identity?"

"..." I didn't have an answer. I didn't know many names because of how few people I knew. "How about... (2/n)... It was my mother's name."

"Noted." he said, "Now that that is out of the way," He said as he bent down. He lifted up a computer. "This will be yours. You can ask one of the other agents for supplies if you want to make upgrades to it." He handed me the laptop. I took it and placed it onto my lap.
"Like all jobs there are rules. One, you must complete assignments by their due date or there will be serious consequences." I nodded,
"two, you must stay loyal to this agency. I will be checking into your compute to make sure you have not taken information or have hacked into the system." I nodded, once again.
" Three, you must use this computer for work. If you decide to get another computer you must inform me. Four, you are not allowed to have contact with any of your family, your past is behind you, you must forget about it."

'That's easy, especially for me.' I thought.

"Five, once you join there is no leaving." My eyes widened, "Because of that you are not allowed to be in relationships with anyone. If you are to break any of these rules there are serious consequences. Do you understand?"

"Yes."

"Good. You are dismissed."
