"Fine, then. So long as you keep reality and make believe separate, we can be on the same page.", I stood up and headed towards the door. Looking over my shoulder, I gave her one last warning, "And don't ever catch any feelings for me."

"It's too tight. I'll turn blue with lack of oxygen by the end of the night.", Taehyung whined, tugging at his bow tie. Our stylist slapped his hand away. "And then people will call me smurftae-"

Hoseok hyung cut off his monologue with a loud guffaw as he reached his hand into Jimin's front pocket. "What is this, Jiminie? A pink handkerchief?" He waved it at Jin. "Is this yours hyung?"

Jimin snatched it away from him with lightning speed. "It's not his. It's mine." He cleared his throat. "I happen to like pink too."

"Since when?" I questioned from in front of the mirror, adjusting my neck tie. "And what happened to your chin?", I pointed to the small bandaid there.

His eyes widened. "I-uhm cut myself while shaving."

Taehyung gaped at him. "What exactly do you shave? There's nothing there."

"Shut up. As if you do." Jimin countered.

Taehyung gasped in outrage. "I do too..."

I tuned out their bickering when Namjoon hyung stepped in front of me. He put a hand over my shoulder. "I'm sorry you have to take this bullet for the team."

I smiled. "Guess we're not bulletproof anymore."

He chuckled. "Just know that there's an expiry date on this fake relationship. Sooner or later it'll be over."

I nodded.

But will it be too late by then? Will she wait for me?

"Alright, Jungkook-ssi." The head PR person stepped into the room, interrupting my thoughts.

"This is a charity event but appearances are all that will matter at the end of the day. You won't be with Tzuyu-ssi on the red carpet because we don't want to shove your newfound relationship in people's faces. But make sure the media gets to capture you two together, hopefully looking all couply, maybe once or twice throughout the night." He snickered. "Ha ha twice. See what I did there?"

I stopped myself from rolling my eyes to another dimension.

Lisa's pov~

I tugged my short dress down a little before stepping out of the car. Rosé, Jisoo and Jennie were already ahead of me, walking with practiced grace towards the red carpet.

The charity event was an amalgamation of an exhibition, auction and party. Some of our sponsors and our company itself had heavily donated to the host of the event, so the appearance of ygfamily members was necessitated. We'd be bidding on some paintings on behalf of yg too.

It all seemed very weird to me. Couldn't they just directly donate, instead of setting up an exhibition/auction/party?

Guess, it's just an excuse to dress to the nines and show off wealth for the big entertainment companies. I had to give up my comfy bed and tv dramas for this.

Flashes blinded me as we stopped in our spot at the carpet, smiling and posing for the cameras. I just hoped I wasn't experiencing a wardrobe malfunction with my partially see through white dress.

With one last smile we started to move forward. But as always Chaeyoung stepped in the other direction. Hushed laughter rang out from the photographers.

Jisoo grabbed her shoulder to turn her the right way round and we moved towards the grand staircase leading inside the building.

The posh lobby with a fountain centrepiece reflected wealth and class. The whole interior seemed to be dripped in gold and crystal with heavy ornate chandeliers and sculpted furniture.

Soft music played and the murmuring of the crowd was a background din as they looked at the various art pieces on display, glasses of champagne in hand.

"Wow, I'm feeling intimidated.", Chaeyoung whispered to us.

"Me too.", I replied.

But then my nervousness evaporated when I heard a familiar voice shout my name. A voice which reminded me of home, family and childhood.

My smile was instant as I turned. "Bambam!"

"Noona.", he teased. He was in a suit, and though he was lanky, it still hugged him everywhere. He looked good.

"Stop that, I'm not your noona. Besides your taller than me now.", I chided playfully.

"Doesn't matter. You'll always be noona."

He greeted my other members before turning back to me. "You look amazing. Though I'm feeling a brotherly instinct to cover you right now."

Jennie chuckled. "So it's true. You guys are really like siblings."

I opened my mouth to reply to her but loud whispers and the crowd's sudden attention towards the entrance stopped me.

Everyone turned their heads towards the huge double doors, almost in synchronisation.

And why wouldn't they? The magnetic appeal of the Bangtan boys was overwhelmingly hard to resist. They stepped through the entrance as if they were stepping out of the front covers of GQ magazine, every one of them in suits and ties.

My mouth went dry at the sight of Jungkook, his suit hugging his every muscle and his hair styled in a casual messy look.

I swear every female in the room sighed at the sight they made.

My happiness at seeing him after so long evaporated when a female figure stepped through the doors, coming to Jungkook's side.

And entwined her arm through his.

I know you guys are hungry for lizkook interaction, especially after the drought of the last few chapters. But good things happen to those who wait.

I was going to write a bigger chapter but I feel like I need a bit more time to perfect how I'm going to write what comes next.

What do you think is going to happen?

The media is the dress Lisa is wearing for the charity event.
