Chapter 10.5~ The Pursuit

'Thank god I created that flash drive.' I thought, 'it's a shame though. I did a lot with this phone.' I placed it back into my pocket. The flash drive I had injected my phone into had a deadly virus that would take all the phone's information and over power the circuit in the phone, killing it. I opened my laptop back up and checked the time.

'3:23.' I sighed and lied down on the rooftop. I stared up at the sky. 'there's no use in sitting here.' I sighed, 'I can't really do anything without my phone so I'll need to go get supplies from a store somewhere.' I thought as I stood up and walked over to the door that lead to the staircase. I opened it and walked down the stairs.

After a few minutes of walking down ,what felt like an endless staircase, I made it to the lobby. I opened the door and walked into the lobby. I looked around the lobby. I saw a man who stood behind the desk. I waked up to him.

"Hello, what may I do for you?" he asked.

"Where is the closest computer repair shop?" I asked.

"I don't know where a computer repair shop is, but down the street from here is a mall. They probably have something like that there." He said.

"Thanks." I said as I turned around and walked away. I pushed the door open and walked onto the streets. I made my way down the street and stumbled across what the man had been talking about. It was a very big mall with many stores. I walked into the mall and was surrounded with people.

I walked up to the map that welcomed me as I entered the building. I read the map looking for one shop in particular.

'number 20 is a computer repair shop. I'm sure I will be able to get what I need there. Now I just need to find somewhere to hide out for the time being.' I thought, 'in the meantime, I'll to go the café.' I walked up to the escalator and went up to the third floor.

I stepped off of the moving stairs and walked over to the café. I pushed open the door and walked in. I placed my things down at a table and took my computer out. I signed into the free Wi-Fi and hacked into the system to find the password for the mall's Wi-Fi.

After a few minutes of searching I found it. I signed into the Wi-Fi and started hacking into the security system. It was stupidly easy to do. I set it up so once the mall was closed I would be able to turn all of the CCTVs off along will all of the automatic locks.

As it grew later and later I decided I should find a suitable place to hide until the whole mall was closed. I stood up and exited the café.

I looked around the different stores to find one that I would be able to hide in.

As I wandered around the mall I found a large toy shop. I entered it and looked around. There were stuffed animals that were extraordinarily large and would be perfect for hiding in. I sat down and pulled out my camera. I hacked into the toyshop and turned the CCTVs off. I put my computer away and started to look for a hiding place.

As I wandered around I found a large rack of oversized teddy bears. I looked around making sure no one was looking and crawled under them. Once I was under I pulled my laptop out again and turned the CCTVs on, for now. I lied down on the floor and shut my eyes. I was going to be in here for a while.
