Chapter 9~ Burning Misfortune

"But why would Rika do that?" He asked.

"I don't know." I said, "Didn't Saeran also have that logo tattooed on his arm?"

"...you're right." He said. He took a deep breath. "What the hell is going on?"

"What day is it?" I asked.

"(insert date)." He said as I pulled out my phone. I opened up the RFA app and checked for any replies from any of the possible guests.

"Two days away." I said.

"Yup."

"Do you think we'll be able to make it back in time?"

"Ya, we should be able to, unless something goes wrong."

"Which it won't!" I said smiling. 

"You never know."

"Thanks, Mr.Killjoy."

"No problem." He replied with a sly smirk plastered onto his face.

"Jerk." I sighed and looked at the time.

"It's getting pretty late." Saeyoung said. "We may need to stop somewhere for the night."

"I guess so." I sighed, "I'll end up getting us both killed if I try to take over the wheel." I said half-jokingly.

"We may have to back-track a little. While you were sleeping I saw a cabin, we could stay the night there."

"Yes sir." I said with a smile. He pulled over to the side of the road and turned around. "I'm jealous of your driving skill."

"It's not that difficult."

"Speak for yourself." I said.

"I tried to teach you."

"Key word tried." I huffed.

"Where here." Saeyoung said as he pulled over and took the keys out of the car. He opened the door. I opened the car door and stepped out.

"Fresh air!" I said as I took a deep breath.

"You could have rolled down the window."

"Well you could have told me that!"

"Well maybe you should have told me you wanted air."

"Well... You... Could have..........." I tried to think of something to say but I couldn't think of anything.

"Got nothing?" He asked. I sighed.

"I got nothing." I said as we approached the door. Saeyoung reluctantly opened the door and peeked his head in. "Is there anyone in there?" I asked as I stood on my tippy toes to try to see what was going on.

"It seems like it's been abandoned but... It still has furniture and everything." he opened the door fully and walked in.
"Hello?" He asked as he started to walk around. I followed behind as he wandered the seemingly abandoned building.
