Once that was over, they told us to say goodbye to our parents and then led us to a room next to the cafeteria.. it was a big open space that in the future would have tables.. but for now.. it had only a big table with appetizers and music softly blasting
The goodbyes were tough but cellphones were already a must in our lives so I could live with the distance.. my parents told me they would chose a cabin for me and put my stuff in there and then went away while I was rushed to the room
On my own..
Great..
I walked inside and went to the table to get a plate.. I picked out some food and then a cup and filled it with soda
I then walked to a table and sat down, two girls immediately came by and smiled down at me also putting down their plates
- Hi! I'm Anna.. she's Meaghan..
- Hi! My name is Demi - I greeted while they both sat down next to me on the table
I smiled at them and we started a conversation about the movie and life in general.. they both seemed like they were really sweet girls..
I looked up for a mere second and saw the curly haired guy on the oposite corner of the room.. he was talking with a girl and two guys, who I knew were his brothers, while eating.. he didn't seem too interested in the conversation though..
More people greeted us and joined our small table.. I was starting to get more comfortable as time went by.. the guy finally came with his friends and greeted us.. at this point I was already being my loud and obnoxious self
- Hey guys! - I yelled after they greeted us
They all sat down and started talking about how they were brothers and all.. Kevin, the eldest, remembered my face from an audition I made for their upcoming Disney series.. of course I wouldn't remember since they were watching behind a window that to me looked like a mirror..
We were all having fun and laughing loudly.. Nick, the guy I had under my eye, was really quiet.. it seemed like he didn't want to be here.. or just straight up didn't like me.. he stood up at the same time I did and we both headed towards the food

I was closer to the table so he was behind me when I got to it.. since we were far from the others, I saw this as an opportunity to redeem myself
- So.. what do you think about everyone? - I asked instantly cussing at myself for the awkward introduction
He looked at me with a stunned expression, almost as if he was surprised that I talked to him
- Oh.. they seem cool.. what do you think?
I nodded - Yeah.. I mean.. you sure are shy - I stated wanting to hit myself - I mean, not that there's anything wrong with it.. - I corrected and took a deep breath - my name's Demi - I blurted
