I woke up and felt it. The agony, the OCD. The air felt too tight in the room, nothing was right. I got up from the bed abruptly and slightly panicked. Howcome I slept through all that? Before Camila came, insomnia kept me up all night and so did the OCD. The whispers, they vanished. Camila woke up from her deep sleep too, and sat on the bed as she gave me a perplexed look.

"What's wrong?" she asked, sounding half asleep.

"Nothing." One.

"Nothing." Two.

"Nothing." Three.

Camila, the kiss, the dead girl, the screaming, the blood. I looked around vigorously, not knowing if I was looking for something specific but I will know it when I see it. My breathing's pace has quickened and I was consuming only a few bits of air. Camila disappeared in a blink of an eye and reappeared infront of me. Teleportation was one of her favourite methods.

She cupped my cheeks with her bare hands and carressed it with her thumb soothingly. Her eyes stared into my own and it began to vary in colors. Purple, red, yellow, green, orange, white, it ended with the light blue. It was shimmering through its own shade.

"Shh, shh. Take deep breaths and tell me what's wrong, baby," she said and I followed her command. I took a few deep breaths before answering her inquiry.

Should I tell her?

Should I tell her?

Should I tell her?

Should I tell her?

Should I tell her?

Should I tell her?

Should I tell her?

"How did I sleep when you were here with me? 2 weeks, I never slept. I kept thinking, I kept thinking, I kept thinking if I turned everything off, if I closed or locked all the doors 3 times. I did all of it but . . . nothing. When you came, it just felt right." I biased.

Maybe trying to expunge the more intricate reason would have been easier for her. She might have a lot in her plate right now because she looked lifeless, her skin was so pale. She used to have tanned skin, as far as I could recall by now.

She wet her lips and looked like she was deep in thought. Her eyes turned back to its original color.

"I'm here. I won't leave you like they did." She leaned in again to kiss me. She's kissing me for the second time. I didn't get the flashbacks, no dead girls, no shouting, no whispers, nothing.

She's kissing me.

She's kissing me.

She's kissing me.

She moved her lips in an unexpected way and I tried catching up with her. It was a bit fast, hasty.

Why wasn't I pulling away?

Why wasn't I pulling away?

Why wasn't I pulling away?
