< Things spoken in Korean will be in italics >

You took your time getting home today. It was later than when you usually got home because you already knew what you were in for. In your hand was the official document SM had given you to show to your parents. Which was most likely crumpled due to the anxious way you held it the entire way home.

Not to mention that SM himself as well as Mark accompanied you on the trip home, planning on aiding in delivering the news. Mark was there more as a translator for Sooman as well as proof of a trainee under the agency.

As you thought about it, you laughed at the words trainee and agency still not fully comprehending the fact that this was all happening and it hadn't even been a year of you living here yet.

Creaking the door slowly open, Mark scolded you. "Aren't you going to knock?"

"It's my house, duh." He could only shake his head, looking at Sooman warily before stepping inside close behind you. "Mom, Dad?" You almost cringed at how quiet the house was. Daring to take a step further inside, you were shocked to see they'd already begun packing things.

You Mom already stood sternly in front of you with your Dad hiding behind her as she said "Did we not just talk to you yesterday about you coming home la-" Seeing Sooman and Mark standing next to you made her stop, studying them closely.

"Who are they?" Your dad asked the obvious question.

"I'm Mark, and this is Sooman. Nice you meet you." Mark bowed politely while you're parents just looked at him like he was crazy. He must've forgotten who he was talking to. They didn't necessarily deserve that kind of respect.

"___ give the paper to them so they can stop being so confused." Sooman told you. You nodded softly almost forgetting in the heat of the moment. Your parents looked stunned seeing you understand what he said, for they haven't kept up with your Korean studies whatsoever.

"What's this?" She asked, taking the paper from your hand.

"Your daughter is very talented. I've seen her dance at my company and I would like to keep her as a trainee for SM Entertainment. She will be very successful." SM explained, looking to Mark for help.

"He runs his own entertainment agency and would like to keep your daughter as a trainee. She's really talented."

Your Mom scrunched her eyebrows in confusion at Mark. "Why is he even here then?"
You wanted to smack her right there.

"I'm also a trainee there. I'm good friends with your-"

You pinched Mark's arm forcing him to stop. "Don't even bother. There's no getting through to them."

"A trainee? Doesn't that mean she will have to live there at the agency with you?" Your dad asked and Mark told Sooman what he said.

"That's right."

"No way." Mom spoke up, shoving the papers back in his direction. "It's not happening. We're moving by next week. My daughter has better things she could be doing. Like helping out with our company in America."

"I'm sorry Mrs. Parent Of The Year, but you don't really have a choice." A familar cute voice popped in from behind you. Turning in that direction, there was Lee Donghyuck standing right by your side.

"Donghyuck did you just walk in here?" You laughed.

"The door was open." You rolled your eyes, messing up his hair almost forgetting the situation at hand for a second. "And plus, I wasn't going to just stay back and not help."

"And who told you that it's not my choice? You have no say in this right now." Your parents took a step towards Donghyuck. "Last time I remember you brought my daughter home late from your so called date."

"I brought her home just in time. Maybe she doesn't want to be around her asshole parents who don't give a crap about her at all and never..." Donghyuk began ranting frantically in Korean in their direction.

"They can't understand Korean." You touched his arm trying to calm him down.

"Good." Was all he could say.

"Listen." Sooman spoke loudly enough for everyone to stop and look at him while he spoke, explaining things in a calmer tone. "Your daughter has already signed off on the documents. And I am the one who personally recruited her under my label. While you guys are still technically living here, there is nothing you guys can do to turn this around."

Mark interpreted everything Sooman has spoken, and as he did so the reality of what had happened settled on your parents faces. Both not knowing what to do anymore.

"Then what was the point of you all coming here?" You dad asks, neither of them being able to say much more.

"I just wanted to tell you what was happening whether you liked it or not." You smile knowing you've just won.

"Just go." You mom was red faced. "Get your things from your room and go."

And with the happiest smile on your face, you ran upstairs to your room to pack your things for SM Entertainment while they waited patiently for you.
