I plopped myself down next to him as he rolled up his pant leg. I took out my multi-tool and opened up the smallest knife.
"Ummm.... (Y/n)?" I looked at the orange haired boy. His face looked mortified.
"Are you oka-" the gears in my brain started to turn.
'Knife in one hand... It's just me and him... He's chained up...'
"I'm not going to cut your leg off." I said chuckling. He looked slightly relived but still concerned.
I rotated the cuff of the chain around till I found the keyhole. I stuck the blade of the knife into the bottom of the keyhole. I then pulled a bobby-pin out of my hair and stuck it in the larger part of the keyhole.
I began to twist the knife blade until I felt a click. I then twisted the bobby-pin until I heard the same noise.
"Try to take it off." I said. He looked reluctant but did as I said. He grasped the metal and pulled the sides apart. It detached with a click. He dropped the chain and stared at his now freed ankle.
I smiled at him. He looked shocked and excited. Before I realized it I was lying the ground with Saeran on top of me engulfing me in a hug.
"Thank you." He said. I smiled and hugged him back. He soon sat back up. His face was a slight shade of red and he was nervously rubbing his neck. "Sorry, got excited."
"It's fine." I said sitting up. "Come on!" I stood up and reached my hand out. "Let's go!"
"But what is she comes home?" He asked.
"Don't worry about it! Come on, today is your day!" I said ass Saeran put his hand into mine. I lifted him up with ease.
"But what about..." his voice trailed off before he finished the sentence.
"About what?" I asked. He motioned to practically everything about himself. I sighed, "Follow me." I said as I dragged him into the dining room.
I sat him down in a chair.
"I'll be right back." I walked into the bathroom and started to dig thought the drawers until I found a comb and a washcloth. I walked back to the dining room where Saeran was sitting.
"If you had told me it was your birthday I would have brought some stuff." I sighed. I started to comb out his hair.
'I wonder why his hair is white at the roots...stress maybe?'
I asked myself. I shook off the question and continued to comb out his hair.
When it was decent I stood up and walked to the faucet.
I turned it on and ran warm water onto the washcloth.
When the washcloth was saturated I walked back over to Saeran and combed his hair back. I bobby-pinned it back with one of my many bobby-pins and carefully washed his face. When I was done I noticed his face was quite red.
"Was the water too cold?" I asked.
"I could have done it myself." He mumbled.
"sorry." I said shrugging with a slight smirk. I walked back to the bathroom and put everything back where it was. After I was done I went on the hunt for shoes.
