I did not realize how long I've been on my brother's arms. He wasn't saying anything but instead, he just continued to caress my head like the old times. It took a few sniffs before I stopped crying- still rested on my brother's

"Oh bambina" he cooed and I just breathed deeply, trying to even it out

We stayed there for a few more minutes before we heard a gasp, "STEPHEN!" a deeply hurt voice shouted that made us separate. "Who is she? How could you?", she asked

"Mon amour, it's not what you think it is"[my love] he explained to her

"How can you explain what I saw earlier?" she asked

I bitter smile went to my face. My brother is really in love with his wife as much as his wife loves him. They're perfect, match made in heaven on top of that. I sighed and got up from the ground before I turn around. I felt bad for my brother so it's better to let out the truth before they'll have a really bad argument right here, right now

"I apologize for the trouble Your Highness but my brother comforted me since he found me in that state" I smiled to them and they both stopped talking

I chuckled as I saw my brother's wife with shocked expressions,"Bonjour, it's been a long time belle soeur" [sister in law] 

Before I knew it, I was in between her arms as she cried hard

"Oh Amelia! We have been looking everywhere for you! I'm so glad that you are safe!" she said and pulled away, wiping her tears

"Shh now belle soeur, your make up is going to get ruined" I said as I let out a light chuckle

"Whatever sis, you know how much I don't like make up" she said

I smiled, "Glad to see that you never changed a bit"

She smiled back, "As do I" and laughed

We were interrupted by a royal guard who curtsied in front of us. With his head down, he said, "Your Royal Highness, your presence is needed back at the party for the closing ceremony"

"Very well, we will be headed there soon" my brother dismissed the royal guard. After the guard left, he turn to me

"Bambina, I would like to see you at the back of the school after the party. We will be going with you and you can not say no to this okay? Our conversation is not over" he said and they said their goodbyes before heading back to the party but I stayed here, siting on a bench. I don't have any power to go back in

I just want to be alone for a while and I don't know, think about

I winced at the thought, my heart swells in pain as soon as I remembered his name, his face and everything happened. Why? Is this really our fate? I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair, making it untangled. I stayed silent for a couple of minutes before I heard cheering inside the ball room. I laughed bitterly, they seemed really happy whereas I am stuck here, looking pitiful

After a few more minutes, a royal guard suddenly appeared in front of me with his head down, "Your Highness, the King and Queen wishes to see you at their car now" he said

I nodded, "Alright but can you please get my purse inside?"

He curtsied before he quickly went inside and he came back right after. I thank him and texted Mike that I will be going home with my brother. I told him to get themselves ready

I placed my phone inside my purse again and gazed at the guard, "Please lead the way" I said and stood up from my seat

He lead me to a secret passage to the place where they were waiting. A limousine was parked there and I saw the both of them waiting for me with a smile on their faces. I sighed, I gave them a small smile and went inside the limousine. They went in after I did and we took off. I gave the driver the directions and we stayed silent for the rest of the ride
