After that discussion, Drew finally let me walk when we arrived at the cafeteria and right now, I am watching the archery competition alone because Drew went home to have a shower and change his clothes for his event later

Which is unfortunately, Car racing

I was about to tell him that I will be participating too but he drove his car already and left me in the parking lot with a worried face. I kept thinking at that moment if I should tell him or surprise him. However, I push down those thoughts and found myself here,in the field, watching the archery competition

I am sitting at  a spot that is away from the crowd because I just feel like it's fun to be alone sometimes. I can not seem to find Hera either or she is with Takeru at the moment. I do not wish to interrupt with their time together so I settled with my lone time for now. I have been watching for about an hour now and I must say, they are really good and fast. I wonder why they are not part of the club

Pero hindi ko pa rin makalimutan yung sasalihan ni Drew mamaya. I mentally face-palmed, I think kailangan ko sabihin kay Drew before the competition starts. Anyways, it's just a race 

I didn't realized that time passed by so quickly that  I sat there for another two hours. Napansin ko lang nung nakita ko na wala na ang sikat ng araw at padilim na. Tsaka kanina pa pala nagv-vibrate yung phone ko. Kaya I grabbed my phone and immediately checked the messages. I was shocked to see almost 50 messages from Drew and 20 missed calls. I mentally panicked, baka kanina pa ako nun hinahanap kaya tinawagan ko na. After ng ilang rings, ay sumagot na siya

"Hello?Lia? Where are you? I have been searching for you around the campus but I can not seem to find you"

I chuckled, "I am at the field. Are you sure you checked everywhere?" I teased

I heard him sigh, "Alright then I'll go there. Where exactly are you?"

"It's a secret. Hanapin mo na lang ako, ciao!" sabi ko at inend ang tawag bago ko nilagay ang phone ko sa bag ko. I just want to tease him a little more

Tumayo na ako sa kinaroroonan ko and I decided to sit at the bleachers. Wala na yung mga tao rito kasi kanina pa tapos yung mga laro sa field. Ang meron na lang ngayon ay ang indoor sports, the pageant and the awaited car racing

"LIA?!" I heard someone shouting kaya napatingin ako kung saan yon galing. Nakita ko sa di kalayuan si Drew na kung saan saan tumitingin. I rested my elbow on my knees and my jaw on my hands while I'm staring at him. I am waiting for for him to glance at my direction. Nakita ko siyang tumitingin sa taas ng puno, sa likod ng trash bin at sa may building na malapit sa field. It took a while before our eyes met. His serious expression was replaced with a sweet smile so I waved. Dali dali naman siyang tumakbo papunta sa tabi ko at hinalikan ang cheeks ko bago umupo

Tiningnan ko naman siya at tumawa, "Ang hyper mo ata?"

He grinned and pinched my nose, "You really love to play around huh? Making me look for you like that for an hour and a half"

I chuckled, "Well, I can kid around you know"

He laughed a little, "Yeah I know"

"CALLING FOR THE PEOPLE WHO WILL TAKE PART OF THE CAR RACING, PLEASE PROCEED TO THE RACE TRACK RIGHT NOW"

Oh, there it is. The signal that I have been waiting for a while now

"Ahh, that's so fast. Nakita palang kita, magsisimula na agad yung race" he sighed and inilahad niya yung kamay niya sakin, "Let's go? Manunuod ka diba?" he asked

I did not hold his hand, "Uhm about that" I started

He frowned, "Hindi ka manunuod? Nakakatampo" maktol niya

"No, it's not like that" sabi ko

"What do you mean?" he asked

I am fidgeting in my seat and played with my hair, "I will be participating too" I whispered

But it seems like he did not heard anything kaya kumunot ang noo niya, "I beg your pardon?"

I sighed and tried to compose my self. I faced him with my serious expression, "I can not come with you because I will be getting my car and... I will be participating too"

After I said those words, hindi siya nag react. Talagang tiningnan niya lang ako at parang ang tagal mag process sa kanya ng mga sinabi ko

"WHAT?!" and there I watched him as he went hysterical
