I head down the stairs and I found Lucia making breakfast
"Lucia, I'll go ahead now" I said. She cock her head to my direction,"You would not eat breakfast Princesse?" she asked
I shook my head, "I have a meeting at 6:30" and it's already 6 o'clock
"Would you be fine driving by yourself your highness?" she asked me once again
I gave her an assuring smile, "I would drive safely, do not worry Lucia. Please tell Mary and Mike that I went to the University already"
"Okay Princesse, take care" she said
"Graci" [Thank you] I replied and head to the garage to pick up my Audi. I settled inside and drove myself to school
After I parked my car, I stride my way once again to the conference hall. I opened the door and I was greeted by the dean
"Good morning Ms. Young" she said
"Good morning Ms. Scathe" I greeted back and sat at her right side
"May I ask what is the meeting all about?" I asked, facing Ms. Scathe
She gave me a meaningful smile before answering, "Let us wait for another person to arrive, shall we Ms. Young?"
"I understand Ms. Scathe" I said and waited quietly. Fifteen minutes has passed and the door suddenly opened, showing Andrew. I raised my eyebrow, huh so our ways have crossed once again.
"I apologize for being late" he said and paved his way to the chair opposite of mine. As he sat down, his eyes drifted to my direction, "Good morning Amelia" he greeted and so I said, "Good morning Andrew"
"It is fine Mr. Smith but I hope next time this would not happen again. Making a lady wait is inappropriate" Ms. Scathe said but the only response she got from Andrew is a nod.
"I have summoned you both once again for a reason. I would like both of your departments to have a great relationship since you will be working side by side for the next four months. I have arranged a 3 day trip at a camp on the south. I hope you can deliver this great news to your batch mates" she said
It made me think for a second. It will be another set of paper works for the budget and the other necessities needed
I haven't realized that I was being watched by Ms. Scathe with an amused face, "Do not worry anything Ms. Young. The school will provide the budget, transports and basically, everything will be laid out for the students. All you have to do is to bring everyone on the trip, yes?"
I took a deep breath before saying, "Yes, I understand"
"When are we going to leave?" Andrew suddenly asked
Ms. Scathe grinned and I think that expression is kind of off putting. It seems strange and it is like it has another meaning
"Oh do not fret Mr. Smith, you will be leaving tomorrow at 3 in the morning. The students can also sit anywhere they want, okay?okay. Now you two understand the agenda, I will take my leave now. The students may also go home after lunch. Good luck and have a safe trip" and with that, she left us here. Never gave us a chance to speak up or hesitate
"I guess we've got no choice Amelia" Andrew said after sighing deeply
I rubbed my two hands at each side of my forehead, "I guess". I reached out for my phone and dialed Kyle's number which he answered right away
"Yes Captain, you called?" he said
"Please spread the news that we will be having a three day trip and will be leaving tomorrow at 3 am. The dean said that they can go home after lunch and prepare themselves for tomorrow. Do not let them know that it is a joined trip with the Architecture and Engineering department cause they will just cause a ruckus, do you understand? I apologize for leaving this task to you. I think I might need rest, my body condition seems not well today" I told Kyle
"Captain!Do not worry! I will do my job well okay? Just rest and see you tomorrow" he said and ended the call
I know it is unladylike but after he ended the call, I slump back to my seat, holding my head. I nearly forgot that Andrew is still with me so I straightened up my back and rose from my seat
"I will leave first okay? Bye Andrew" I said without glancing at him and exited the room. I took my few steps but stopped when he suddenly called out my name
"Amelia" he said
So I did my best to turn my head towards him, "Yes?" I said. He stroll his way towards me and now he is in front of me
"Have you eaten breakfast yet?" he asked
I shook my head, "No, I haven't. Maybe after I put my draft at the art room"
He stared at me with his serious expression. Ah, this is the first time that I have been this close to Andrew. He has eyes like the sea and a pointed nose. What nice features
"Can you come with me and eat breakfast? I haven't eaten too" he said with a hopeful expression in his eyes
"I would love too but the draft.." I trailed off
"No, that can wait. You need to eat first to energize yourself, alright?" he said
