Damon POV:

"Damon come on you have been in there for ages"Elena said to me through the bathroom door

"And i will still be in here till today is over"I replied back to her

Today is Avery funeral and right now i don't want to go i don't want to say goodbye to her not yet i am so close into turning off my humanity switch but i can't as Avery wouldn't want me to.

"Come on brother get out of there, today is about Avery and saying goodbye to her"Stefan said 

I signed i turned around and walked to the bathroom door and opened it to see Elena and Stefan standing there with their funeral clothes on i walked past them and walked down the stairs and there i found Matt, Jeremy, Tyler, Bonnie and Caroline sitting down on the couch they turned and looked at me 

"Listen Ric will be meeting us there so here is what we are going to do we walk in together and we walk out together got it and if any of the original vampires say anything to us ignore them just remember today is about Avery and only her she wouldn't want us to be fighting with them"I said looking at them all 

"Damon have you wrote the speech yet"Caroline asked me 

"Yes Caroline i have have you listened to the song your singing there"I asked her

"Yes i have Damon like you said today is about saying goodbye to Avery and nothing else"Caroline replied back to me 

I nodded to her as we all turned around and walked out of the front door and to the limo that would be taking us to the church.

At the Church 

Elijah POV:

I was sitting at the front row with my family sitting beside me our friends were sitting behind us i knew Alaric is waiting outside for Damon and that to get here i told Klaus not to start anything since i knew he would find someway to start an argument between him and the Mystic Falls Gang i looked at Avery coffin and the picture that was beside it i began tearing up a bit but just before i could go any further i heard footsteps and there were a lot of them 

"Unavailable their friends didn't even know Avery they should be sitting at the very back not the second row"Tyler said 

I stood up and turned around to face them as i did i walked over to them and stood in front of them 

"Elijah"Damon said to me 

"Damon you can sit anywhere you like"I said to them 

"Don't mind if i do beside Tyler is right your friend don't even know Avery like we do"Damon replied back to me 

I didn't say anything back as he was right as well but today is about Avery and i am not going to start a fight

Damon POV:

I sat in the front row with Alaric then after him Stefan and the rest of us filled the rest of the row we sat on the opposite side of the originals but on the same row i could feel them watching us but we didn't look at them we kept facing the front and looking at Avery coffin and thinking about the good memories we had with her.

"Hello and Welcome to the funeral of Avery Saltzman we have several speech's so we are going to start with them first so i will now hand over to Avery's Fiance Elijah Mikaelson"The priest said as he walked to the side 

Yeah the priest was compelled so anything we say he will forget about it. Elijah stood up and walked up to the stand holding a piece of paper in hands and began reading it
