Chapter 4:Seeing Him Again

Avery POV:

I woke up and saw that i was laying on the couch i sat up and noticed that Elena, Matt, Tyler, my dad, Bonnie and Caroline weren't here, i walked into the kitchen and saw them laughing and talking while Elena and Matt were cooking breakfast for us all Caroline turned and smiled at me

"Morning Avery sleep well"Caroline said to me 

I smiled at her and sat down beside her 

"Morning Care and i slept fine what about you"I asked her

"I slept fine thanks for asking i had my one of my best friend cuddling into me"Caroline replied back 

I nodded to her as my phone beeped letting me know that i had a text message i pulled out my phone and opened the message i smiled as i saw it was from Elijah

To:Avery

From:Elijah

Good morning darling i will be at the Gilbert house to pick you up in about 10 minutes so be ready my love

I stood up and ran to the stairs i rushed up the stairs as fast as i could and ran into Elena room since i had clothes here they were in her closet but in a suitcase i brought my suitcase out and found my outfit for the day, i got ready then once i was done i fixed my hair and put in a high ponytail once i was done i checked my phone and saw that i had 2 minutes left to get my jacket and shoes on then go downstairs and wait for Elijah.

I grabbed my shoes and quickly placed them on my feet then i grabbed my jacket and walked out of Elena room to find the front door opened as Caroline had answered it and standing with her was Elijah i reached the bottom step as they both looked at me and smiled at me 

"Avery your original is here"Caroline said with a smile on her face

"Thank you Care i will text you soon"I said to her 

She nodded as she walked away back to the kitchen i turned and looked at Elijah who was smiling at me (Pic at top) i walked out the front door and closed it behind but before i did i shouted bye to everyone 

"Shall we"I said as i looked at Elijah

"We shall"He replied as he took my hand in his as we walked to his car 

He opened the passenger side door for me i smiled to him and got in the car, he closed it behind me as he vamp speed to the driver side of the car and got in,  once we had our seatbelts on we headed off to who knows where he was taking me.

Half way into our journey 

We past the Mystic Falls goodbye sign that's when i knew that for breakfast we were going out of town for it 

"Where are we going"I asked Elijah 

"We are going two towns over i thought since we haven't spend time together in a long while we should have breakfast somewhere not in Mystic Falls where our family and friends are don't worry your dad knows where we are going and he is fine with it as long as i don't hurt you or do anything to put in danger i am fine"Elijah replied 

I nodded to him and began looking out of the window like i was doing when we got in the car

"Avery i am sorry for leaving you i had not choice plus i was daggered the day i left you NiKlaus daggered me for betraying him i'm lucky that Damon Salvatore found my coffin and undaggered me you should thank him for that otherwise if it wasn't for him i wouldn't be here right now"Elijah added on
