Avery POV:

I drove past the Mystic falls welcome sign i was so happy to be finally back here to my hometown where i grew up before having to leave due to reasons ones i don't want to share not again, i parked my car outside the Mystic Grill where i was meeting him my father for the first time in 5 years since i have been away i got out of my car and walked into the Grill where i saw my father sitting at the counter with 7 people beside him i knew 2 of them Damon and Stefan Salvatore i have bumped into them a couple of times when i visited my father or when he visited me Damon looked over and saw me i smiled at him which he returned he excused him self and walked over to me making the people my father and he was with turn and look at where he was going.

"Hey you"Damon said as he hugged me which i returned

"Hey Damon i missed you"I said to him 

We pulled away as Stefan walked up to me and hugged me i smiled and hugged him back

"Glad to see you again Damon has been miserable without you"Stefan said as he pulled away from me 

I started laughing 

"Come on there are people who want to meet you"Damon said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me to where my dad and the 5 people who were talking to my dad, Matt and Jeremy 

I stood beside Damon as Stefan stood beside me i turned and looked at everyone Matt and Jeremy jaw dropped as they couldn't believe that it was me, i turned and looked at the 5 people standing at the other side of Damon then i saw him he was starring at me which made me turn and look away i haven't seen him since he left me to go to new Orleans for some weird reason but now he is back i just have to keep my distance from him i can't have any one know what happened between us.

"Avery"I turned and saw my dad who was standing up and looking at me

"Dad"I shouted as i walked towards him and hugged him 

"I have missed you so much"My dad said 

I nodded to him 

"I missed you too dad"I replied back to him 

We hugged for a few seconds then we pulled away and i went back over to where Damon was and hugged his side me and Damon aren't dating he treats me like a sister the one he doesn't have, but we get tease by Stefan, Matt, Jeremy, Elena, Caroline and Bonnie for being the way we are with each other but we don't care

"Hey Avery this is Klaus, Rebekah, Freya, Kol and Elijah the original family they just moved here  but be careful they are vampires but original vampires so be careful"Matt said to me 

I turned to face them

"Hi i'm Avery as you can guess it's nice to meet you all"I said to them with a smile on my face

"It's nice to meet you too Avery the rest of our friends are back at the house unpacking their stuff but you will meet them soon at the party we are throwing"Klaus said 

I knew exactly who they were since i did have a relationship with one of them well i still do since we didn't break up

"Well Avery we should get going i'm sure you have a lot of unpacking to do your self i will give you a hand since your staying at the Salvatore Boarding house with me and Stefan"Damon said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the Mystic Grill doors

"Damon"I heard Stefan and my dad shout but Damon ignored them and kept walking
