Avery POV:

A Couple of weeks later

It has been a couple of weeks since i have last seen and heard from Elijah and during that time my dad hasn't woken up yet and we are all getting worried Meredith said we should pull the plug as my dad is making no progress into waking up but me and Damon aren't letting that happen also speaking of Damon him and Rebekah are together like a couple together and i couldn't be more happy Rebekah tells me what Elijah has been up to but right now i don't care he cheated on me and unless he comes here and tells me that he wants me then maybe i will forgive him but right now i won't.

"Damon freaking Salvatore get back here"I heard Rebekah shout 

"Sorry Sexy Bex but my little Avery is here"Damon shouted back to her 

I laughed at them and sat down on the couch Damon walked over to me and sat down beside me as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder 

"Morning my little Avery how are this fine morning"Damon asked me 

"Morning my handsome attractive Damon and i am fine what about you"I replied back to him smirking 

"Oh i think i have picked the wrong woman to be with and i am great thanks for asking"Damon said smirking 

"You two are so dead"Rebekah said as she walked over to us 

"Rebekah we are having a laugh it's a sibling thing"I said with a smile on my face

"I hate you both"She replied back to us as she turned and walked in the direction of the kitchen 

"Don't worry she loves us she doesn't hate us"Damon said 

I nodded to him 

"Oh Meredith called me this morning before i came over here"I said to him 

"Really saying what"Damon asked me 

"Saying that we have a week if my dad hasn't made progress then they are pulling the plug on him"I replied back to him 

"What i thought we had another month"Damon said as he stood up 

"No we don't we have a week"I said as i stood up 

Just then the door went Damon turned and walked towards the door and opened it and the person standing there shocked me 

"Elijah your back"I said 

Elijah walked into the house and walked over to me but before he could Rebekah came out of nowhere and hugged her big brother, Elijah smiled and hugged his little sister they pulled away from each other just then Stefan walked into the living room and stood beside Damon facing me and Elijah and to what we were going to do

"Glad to see that your back also nice wedding ring hope the woman your with makes you happy"I said as i crossed my arms and walked past him, Damon, Stefan and Rebekah and walked out of the front door slamming it shut behind me 

Before i could unlock my car my wrist was grabbed and my back was pressed up against my car i saw that it was Elijah who was standing in front of me 

"The only wedding ring that will be on my ring finger will be yours got it and i am sorry but it's sorted me and Klaus went to New Orleans and sorted it out so please Avery take me back as your fiance i need you in my life your everything to me"Elijah said to me 

"Fine only because i have missed you and are you sure it's sorted"I asked him 

He nodded to me as he hugged me which i hugged back we pulled back as Elijah pulled out the ring and slid it onto my ring finger i smiled let's just hope nothing happens to us that makes me take it back off again
