"Any particular reason why Lin and Pippa haven't taken off their costumes and are still dancing?" Jasmine Cephas Jones whispered this to the group of people surrounding her, watching the pair happily dance onstage to an imaginary tune.

Earlier, the company had their costume rehearsal with a few songs of Act one, and everybody but Lin and Pippa were changed to normal clothes.

"Lin probably won't let her. He whispered to me a while ago about her being really pretty in her costume." Leslie Odom Jr. said, smiling at the sight of the two who seemed like they were on cloud nine.

"Typical Lin." Daveed Diggs and Okieriete Onaodowan said in unison, earning giggles from Renée Elise Goldsberry.

"Hey Lin, I'm pretty in my costume too, right?" Jonathan Groff shouted at Lin, earning a confused look in reply. The group bursts out in laughter.

"They're pretty cute together. Any chance that the two are dating or something?" Javier Muñoz asked, earning shrugs in reply.

"Knowing the two, they could possibly be married and we wouldn't even know." Chris said, scoffing.

"Maybe they even have kids." Renée added, dramatically gasping before laughing along with the group.

"You guys," Alex Lacamoire laughed, Tommy following suit.

"Anyway, bet you guys a buck that they've been dating for at least a day." Anthony Ramos announced, holding up a dollar.

"Same here." Daveed said, holding up a buck as well. Stephanie, Kamille, Neil and Gerald follow.

"I bet that it's lasted a week." Chris stated.

"I bet that too." Javier, Daniel and Andrew said, agreeing with Chris.

"No way. Two weeks." Jasmine, Betsy, Oak and Sydney intervene, agreeing with each other.

"Three!" Groff stated, standing up from his seat, Carleigh, Thayne and Sasha standing up to agree with him.

"A month." Renée says, pointing to Ariana, Jon, Austin, Ephraim and Emmy who agreed.

"I bet that they aren't dating." Leslie suddenly announced, crossing his arms. Everyone quieted down and stared at him in disbelief.

"What? Why?" Alysha asked, confused by Leslie's sudden bet.

"Why not?" He smirked, looking back to the stage where Lin and Pippa were now simply talking. "Tell you what, I'll go ask them right now."

"Have fun loosing, Les!" Groff said, only earning a smile in reply. Of course, no one knew what Leslie was up to, but they were confident enough to win the bet.

The group watched as Leslie went onstage and started talking to the pair. Their voices were too low for them to hear, even if some moved closer to the stage.

When the three were finished conversing, they all walked to the edge of the stage. The ensemble, cast and band watched as Pippa cupped her hands around her mouth and sayid "We're not dating."

Lin shouted, "Sorry, guys."

The large group of people groaned as they began to search for a dollar in their pockets to give to Leslie. The winner proceeds to laugh as he collects all the money, pleased to have finally won one of the many bets made around the theater.

"Thanks for saying that, guys." Leslie whispered to the couple, winking at them before jumping off the stage. The groaning from the pissed group continued. Soon, Leslie would have a lot of bucks in his pocket.

Lin and Pippa walk backstage, laughing at the disappointed looks they got. Once they were out of sight, Lin pressed his lips against the woman he was now going steady with. The two couldn't help but giggle at what had happened, hearing it all.

"Let's just keep it between us for now, huh?" He said, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"And Leslie." She whispered, smiling at her boyfriend. Lin twirls her around once more, his mood to dance with her coming back.

"We both know what we know," Lin shrugged and picked Pippa up, twirling her around happily before proceeding to go change into their regular clothes, a bit tired of all the dancing they had done.

Leslie counted about more than thirty dollars, laughing to himself when he saw Lin and Pippa kissing in the corner of his eye. He had found out about them when he spotted them making out in a dressing room, and he promised he'd never tell if they help him win this bet.

And of course, he was satisfied.
