Chapter 0.5~ (Y/n)

Start from the beginning

"Yes, Sir." I said through gritted teeth before walking out of the room, still clutching onto the trey which was pulled up with what was left of the food, broken pieces of glass and the shattered plate.

Walking down the stairs I made my way to the kitchen, before dumping the spoiled food into the garbage, and tossing the trey onto the counter. I took the rag out of my waste-band and tossed it onto the counter as well before walking over to the door.

Throwing on my old shoes and hoodie, opened the door, and walked out of the house.

As soon as I was outside I breathed in the fresh autumn air. The air was nice, cool and crisp, but best of yet, it didn't reek of alcohol. I let out a sigh as I looked up at the rising moon which would soon pain the blue sky into a dark royal blue, before hopping down the steps which lead to the front door.

Where we lived there were not many people. I was sure no one knew about my existence, no one.. and it was probably better that way.

As I walked down the trail which lead to the main road I looked around, taking in the beautiful autumn sights; the beautiful vibrant leaves which swayed in the wind; the large fluffy clouds which slowly rolled across the dark blue sky; the stars which twinkled and glistened, contrasting against the melancholy sky.
Autumn was also beautiful, and yet so sad at the same time. The days would get shorter and there would be less and less sunlight. The leaves which clung onto the branches of trees were really dying.
All the most beautiful things had a side to them which is dark, everyone can see both sides, but few can appreciate them equally.

Exiting the heavily wooded area I approached the main road and across the road was a gas station. I noticed the lights were turned off and felt a bit of relief wash over me.

'It's my lucky day.' I thought as I pulled out my phone from my pocket. I hated to steal but when times get tough you have to be tougher. When when the world wants you dead you need to claw and scratch your way to stay alive.
I signed into the flip phone and opened up an app I had made.
I typed in some algorithms and watched as the security cameras went limp.
They were off.
Running across the empty street I made my way over to the gas station.

The sliding doors opened and I ran in.

Quickly, I grabbed some of the grocery bags from behind the counter and stuffed them with all sorts of stuff. Food, drinks... more alcohol.
As I was about to leave from my store raid I looked over to the register. Under the large box which I knew stored money there were a few boxes of various candies, varying from chocolate, to chewy candy, to mints, to gum.
I felt bad for steeling what I needed but taking something that I don't need...
'to hell with it.'
I grabbed two bars of ((F/c) favorite candy) and stuffed it into my hoodie pocket, before scampering out of the store with three big bags filled with stuff.

I placed the bags down and pulled out my phone, when I was a safe distance away. I quickly activated the cameras and locked the automatic door back up.

'I promise, I will pay you back, some day.' I thought, picking the bags up and walking back into the wooded area.
