2. The New and Improved

2 days later

The Camp was bustling about, excited whispering passing through the crowd as everybody was heading for the concert that was taking place near the fighting arena. Through the noise, you could spot some of the seven making their way to the front of the crowd. 

Some chattered louder than others. "I bet the show will end at midnight!" The other person scoffed, "weak! It's going to end at 1 o'clock!" Those were the victor twins, always finding a way to fight with each other. 

Piper, Thalia, and Percy were hanging out in some random tree, talking to each other. Percy looked slightly sad but held a tight smile on his face. Will, Nico, and the rest of cabin seven were hanging near the front row seats.  One of the seven is missing from the crowd: Annabeth.

Suddenly, Apollo popped onto the stage, holding a microphone to his mouth. When he saw everyone excited for the show, he literally beamed. "Well, hello everyone! Sorry to keep y'all waiting. Let's begin." 

The crowd roared with excitement. Apollo then looked down at the parchment in his hand, "please welcome Annabeth Chase to the stage!" Apollo disappeared. 

The crowd grew silent as the lights dimmed. Annabeth appeared on the stage. Percy almost felt out of the tree. 

Annabeth had her hair straightened, showing off her long hair. She wore long black gloves and matching high heels. She wore a simple black dress that fit perfectly around her. 

Annabeth took a deep breath and looked at the DJ, who was Austin. "I'll be doing blow me one last kiss by Pink" 

Austin nodded and turned the audio on. The music started playing.

Once the song was done, Annabeth stepped back from the mic. Everyone clapped and cheered. Before she left to go sit down she said, "I have a new boyfriend, his name is Eric."
