Outside I'm covered in spines.
Inside I'm a slimy treat.
I may not be as pretty as watermelon lines.
But my prickly pear can't be beat.
Go on and try me, I really am quite divine.
Go on take a seat.
Let us dine.
Your tounge I must meet.
See how well I pair with this wine?
Aren't I a nice treat?
So don't be afraid of my spines.
I really am quite sweet.
