You bask in the warm sun all day.
You love to live the turtle way.
I love how in your shell you lay.
I can never dismay.
When I see you basking in May.
I often craft you in clay.
The answers to turtle secrets you will never say.
Not even if I offer to pay.
You won't even tell them to Bobby Flay.
I guess we'll have to settle for seeing you swim in the bay.
I guess that's okay.
As long as you live the turtle way.
