During Winter

6 1 1

A frosted kiss.
The feeling of a struggling sun.
The morning so gelid.
My window frosty and cloudy.
As the harsh wind blows
My warm blanket I am under.
Even as it thunders.
I am safe and warm.
With hot chocolate and marshmallow swirls.
Candy canes and Christmas trees.
Paper snowflakes and fuzzy pjs.
Silver bells and santa hats.
Christmas cookies and carols sung.
This is how winter is when you live in the sun.
