Lucy's POV

I looked back at the smashed piece of glass I called a clock on my attic bedroom wall.

'2 more minutes' I muttered to myself.

I couldn't wait to escape this hell hole I called a pack.

Too long have I been treated more like a bunching bag and slave then an ordinary Omega.

Too long.

Then my clock chimed midnight.

'Lets go' Melissa told me.

I went to my door and but my ear against it.

Nothing.

I slowly but quietly opened my bedroom door.

When I made sure there was no one there, I closed the door quietly and made my way down the stairs.

Since our pack house was huge, I had to go down more then 5 flights of stairs to make it to the dining room.

When I finally reached the bottom, I saw something move.

I scrambled to find a hiding spot but it was just Vanessa.

'Hey' I said to her through mind link.

Vanessa jumped half a mile in the air when she heard me.

'Don't do that Lucy!' She whisper-yelled at me.

'Ok you ready?' I asked feeling nervous.

'More ready then I'll ever be' she replied looking me straight in the eye before looking into the dining room to make sure we were clear to go.

'Coasts clear. Go!' She yelled into my head.

She stealthily moved through the dining room.

I quickly followed trying to make as little sound as possible.

Before we knew it, we were in front of the back door.

'I can't believe we're doing this' Vanessa said excitedly.

'Me neither'

I pushed the door open and stepped out into the night.
