A/n: this chapter will take place when Kid is literally inside the reader's soul. It's like what happening while he's in there. Does this make sense? I hope it does. Anyways on with the chapter!

Maka's P.O.V

As I was walking with Soul towards te Death room, I couldn't help but feel worried for (Y/n). "What if she doesn't wake up? What if she isn't just unconscious? What if she forgets us? What if-" my thought got cut off by Soul holding my hand.

"Relax Maka, she'll be fine, she's got Kid with her" Soul said with a bright toothy grin.

"I guess your right, but I can't help but worry you know?" I said.

"I know" he said chuckling as he squeezed my hand reassuringly.

"If you really want to help (Y/n) that bad the best we can do is catch Ethan before anything worse happens" he said making me nod.

As we kept walking in comfortable silence we finally reached the Death room. As we entered I noticed professor Stein and papa were there talking with Lord Death. As we got closer I could hear bits of their conversation.

"And what should we do?"

"We can't just wait for them to appear again, we must do something now"

"Yeah but what?" 

Soul cleared his throat rather loudly making them turn around and look at us. They where a bit shocked at first but quickly recovered from it.

"Hello Maka, Soul what brings you here?" Said Lord Death.

"Well Ethan Maverick has gone rogue. He attack
(Y/n) (L/n), who is currently unconscious, but I fear he did more than merely knocking her unconscious. Black*Star and Tsubaki went after him but there was also someone else with him" I said while he nodded.

"Maka why is he holding your hand" my father said clearly emphasizing on the he part.

"Well I'm her boyfriend" Soul said rather defensively while I just face palmed. Now I would never hear the end of it.

"What?! H-He is your what?!" Papa exclaimed

"It's not big deal, it's not like you would care" I said as I crossed my arms.

"B-But, but I'm your father and I love you" he said

"Whatever and your not my father" I said. Not soon after that he started to cry resulting in him getting a reaper chop from Lord Death.

"My suspicions have been confirmed then" Stein muttered while looking at Lord Death.

"We can't let Black*Star and Tsubaki face them alone" he said while Lord Death nodded.

"Maka, Soul go look for Black*Star and Tsubaki, Stein, Spirit I need you to find Wthan and whoever else is helping him" I nodded along with everyone else and we quickly made our way outside.
