About Last Summer

Summer

My name's Alex, Alex Willows. I'm a 5'2, brunette, brown eyed, 17 year old junior who spends her free time playing sports and hanging out with her friends.

My parents are hardly ever home let alone in my life, my mom's always busy working and my dad's always traveling across the globe for his job, but lucky for me I have a younger sister who's 15, named Jaidyn who I'm pretty close with, she can be pretty annoying at times but what sister isn't? We're going to California in a couple of days to visit our aunt Karen for the summer, I seriously cannot wait.

Summer was finally coming and junior year was coming to an end. Senior year was going to be the best year of my life, well at least that's what everyone says. But I was going to get a boyfriend and graduate. Most importantly, I wouldn't have to worry about school anymore.

It was Monday now and sadly enough I had to go to school.

"Last week of school, you can do this" I said to myself, walking in the doors of Basin High School, also known as hell.

"Alex! Wait up!" Scarlet yelled from across the locker bay

Scarlet has been my best friend since first grade, she's super gorgeous, skinny and blonde, basically everything a guy wants in a girl.

"Hey! What's up?" I said.

"I have something really important to tell you!" Scarlet replied.

"What's that...?" I said curiously.

"You promise not to get mad?" She said.

"I promise" I said reassuringly.

"Me and Trevor are dating, officially" Scarlet said, blushing.

"Well what the hell Scarlet! Now you tell me?!" I blurted.

"You said you weren't going to get mad!" She said while laughing.

"I'm not!" I said with a chuckle "Just a little shocked".

We started to walk towards my locker when Scarlet broke the silence.

"Well...I have some more news" Scarlet said quietly.

"What's wrong..." I asked, suddenly worried.

"Alex...you're not going to be happy with me, at all" She said

I don't think I was ever, in a million years, ready for what Scarlet was about to tell me.

There was a moment of silence until she finally told me

"Alex" she takes a deep breath before she finishes. "I'm pregnant" suddenly tears starting to race down her cheeks.
