Lovers Mistake

ZAY POV

"Boys I'm getting married tomorrow!" I shout,

We are back in New York, the plane right was really awkward,

"Atta boy!" Lucas pats my back, Farkle laughs

"So what are we doing tonight?" Farkle asks Lucas,

"Let's go watch a game and get wasted"

"I'm down with that" I say and Farkle nods, then we head to my house after grabbing a few packs of beer,

RILEY POV

"Maya I need to talk to you, can we go outside?" I ask,

"Yea sure" we stand up and leave Smackle and Vanessa in the room, "what's up Riley?"

"Maya... I.." I pause, and turn around in frustration,

"Riley?" She asks,

"I'm still in love with Farkle" I blurt and slowly turn around, she doesn't look shocked

"Maya?"

"You love Farkle and he loves you." She says grabbing some hair and putting it behind her ear,

"No maya he doesn't I confessed to him yesterday and he said he only loved you and that whatever he thought he felt for me was confused feelings"

"Do you really believe that? Cause I don't"

"Your not mad at me?" She smiles,

"How could I be mad? You two love each other and I don't want to be the one keeping you apart" she smiled and hugs me, damn I wish I had felt this way in high school, if I felt this way Farkle would already be with me and Lucas and maya would live happily ever after,

"What do I do now?" I pull away,

"Get Farkle to admit his real feelings" she shrugs,

"How?"

"He's with Lucas and zay and I think I have a plan" she pulls out her phone, I'm confused,

'Hey huckleberry we have a little plan but we need your help' maya texts Lucas, and he responds fast,

'Who's we and what's the plan'

'We need Farkle to confess his feelings about Riley because Riley feels the same, the we is me and Riley'

'You are okay with this?'

'I just want them happy'

'Okay what's the plan'

'We are gonna have Riley say she loves you again, and that you love her'

'You sure?'

'One hundred percent'

'Okay tell me when' I read the text, I hope this works,

FARKLE POV

"Hey Lucas since we all are a little tipsy, you have feelings for maya again?" I ask,

"Nah, Mayas with you I respect that. I have feelings for Riley again." I sit up straight,

"You do?" I ask,

"Yeah, I guess the timing is true this time" he drinks he's beer,

Lucas loves Riley again, no way,

"I think I heard a knock hold up" zay walks to the door and sees the girls, except Vanessa.

"Hello boys" maya says as she walks in, sitting next to me, and Riley next to Lucas she looks shy,

"Sorry to crash the party" Smackle says sitting next to Maya,

"The more the merrier" zay laughs, and hands them a beer,

I look down and see maya making faces at Riley, looking at Lucas, does she like lucas??

"Hey lucas can I talk to you in the kitchen?" Riley asks and Lucas nods both start walking to the kitchen, why.

"I have to go bathroom" I walk past the kitchen and see lucas kissing Riley, they do have feelings for each other. I'm an idiot I should have told her when I had the chance.

I sit back down, broken hearted.

"Farkle come with me" maya says, I follow.

"You okay Farkle?" She asks,

"Yeah I'm fine" she scowls at me, "I am" she continues to scowl,

I put my hands on her waist but it doesn't feel the same, I don't feel the same about her I remove my hands and touch our foreheads together, we stand here for a couple of seconds.

I love Riley. Not maya.

LUCAS POV

"Okay he saw" Riley says, "think this will work?"

"One hundred percent" I smile,

"Okay I'm gonna go back now" I nod and she leaves, I wait a couple of seconds and then maya walks in,

"Getting some water" she says,

"Hey maya?" She turns around to face me,

"What?"

"How do you feel about me?" I glance at the kitchen door,

"Huh?" She asks walking to the counter im at,

"Do you feel anything for me?" She looks down at her cup, and pulls a piece of hair behind her ear,

"I.. I want to make sure Farkle and Riley are happy that's why I'm doing this"

"You didn't pull away from the kiss yesterday, i just thought maybe you felt the same way about me"

"Um.." I glance down at the floor afraid of her answer, "I do, I do feel the same about you.. but I want to make sure Farkle is okay with it" she finally looks up at me, her eyes full of intensity,

"And what is he's not?"

"Then we can't happen"

So there is only one more chapter, zays wedding day. Where everything will hopefully fall into place, but who knows with the roller coaster of emotions these kids have been on.
