FARKLE POV
"Farkle wait!" I walk into the kitchen,
"Woah what's going on" zay asks when maya runs in after me,
"I knew it!" I shout,
"Farkle it's not what it looks like" maya pleads,
"Save it!" I storm off out the front door,
"Farkle please! Let me talk to you" Maya's running after me, I open the car door and get in locking the other doors before maya can open them,
"Farkle please!" She's knocking on the window,
I put the key in, start the car, and drive off,
"Farkle plea-" Maya's voice gets drowned out by the screeching of the tires as I drive away,
I knew I should have been worried about them hanging out again! Just when I thought we could have all been friends again.
Fuck lucas!
I was gonna propose! And this happens.
I pick up my phone and I'm gonna text Riley,
"Hey can you hang out? I really need someone to talk to." I toss my phone on the passenger seat.
It turns on and I pick it up again,
"Yeah. Come to my parents house."
I turn the car and head there,
MAYA POV
"Lucas! What the fuck!" I shout at him, Farkle thinks I cheated.
"Maya I'm sorry I couldn't help myself, it just happened"
"Just happened!? You know I'm with Farkle!" My eyes water,
"I'm sorry maya, I guess I'm just still in love with you, I've never gotten ov-"
"This is not the time to confess your undying love for me!" I shout at him, and throw my hands up on the air,
"Maya what happened?" Zay walks in the room,
"Lucas kissed me and Farkle saw!" I sit on the couch,
"Oh."
"Yeah oh!" I pick up my phone and text Farkle,
"You didn't push me off though" Lucas mumbles,
"Because I didn't have time to react before my BOYFRIEND walked in and saw it!" I grab my bag and sweater and leave zay's house,
FARKLE POV
"Thanks for letting me come here" I walk into rileys house,
"Of course"
*five hours of talking later*
"So what happened Farkle?" Riley changes the subject,
"You mean?"
"You said earlier you needed someone to talk to" she smiles at me,
"I walked in on maya and Lucas kissing"
"Oh. what did they say?"
"Nothing I didn't give them a chance" I sit on the floor,
She sits next to me, "then how do you know maya wanted that kiss, or if Lucas did"
"I was just so mad" I fumble with my fingers,
"Was?" She looks at me confused,
Being here and taking with her for almost six hours, just makes me feel different. She understands and listens to me.
In the last six hours I've come to see the Riley that I fell in love with seven years ago,
Before I know it, I'm leaning in to kiss her, and she is hesitant to it, but she starts leaning in too.
I pull away before our lips touch,
"Sorry" I cough,
"It's okay" she kinda sounds disappointed,
