LUCAS POV
"dude get up your phone keeps going off"
"Check who it is"
"Your mom" I snap up on the bed and answer the phone,
"Hey mom what's up?" I rub my eyes,
"Sweetie we got a call from zay! He's getting married!" Since when did zay call us?
"Mom what do you mean?"
"He called us today saying that he was getting married and would really like you to be there"
"He wants me there?"
"Yes, its in two weeks so get your butt back to New York!" New York? My heart started beating faster.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes now get your butt on the first flight back. See you in two days."
"Okay I'll be there in two days, bye love you" I hung up and started packing my things up from the drawers of the hotel room and floor.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm going back to New York"
"Already we were supposed to go out"
"Okay let's go out as a last hurray before I leave"
"Alright" he actually wants me there.
MAYA POV
I can feel my phone vibrating in my bag, who is calling me so much?
Geez.
"Okay class I'll see you tomorrow" I grab my bag and walk out of the room and take my phone out to 5 miss calls and 8 text messages.
"Dad what is it?" He answered the phone right away,
"Well thank god Maya I was about to call the police, why didn't you answer"
"Dad I was in art class, remember? I take night classes?"
"Oh yea, sorry" I roll my eyes,
"Well we got a call from zay and he is getting married"
"Zays getting married woah"
"He is and he would love it if you went, he said he really wants you there"
"He wants me there?"
"Yes he does"
"Wow that's great," I smile, "when is it?"
"Two weeks!" He pauses, "but maybe you should come this week?"
"This week?" I pause.
"Yeah, can't you?"
"I guess so" I start walking, "I'll run it by farkle"
"Okay, we'll be here waiting"
"Okay bye dad, tell mom I said hi"
"Bye and be safe!" I stand under the street light waiting for Farkle and his car shows up and I get in.
"How was class?" He asks.
"Amazing!" I smile,
"I love how your eyes light up when you talk about something you love" I look at him and see him smiling back,
I giggle.
"Hey babe?" I'm gonna tell him about the wedding,
"Yea?" He looks at me confused,
"I got a call from my dad, zay is getting married and wants me there" I glance at him,
"He called you guys too?"
"Wait he called you too?"
"Yea maya my dad called an hour ago saying zay invited me and my family" woah.
"Are you gonna go?" I glance out the window remembering the last time we saw zay was the day Farkle got out of the hospital.
"I kinda want to" he grins.
"That's great cause so do I!" I look towards him.
"Then we're gonna go!" He laughs.
"Yay!" I giggle, the last time we saw zay didn't end well, it's nice to know he wants to see us even years later,
