Beauty's more than what's portrayed,
Beauty lies beyond the skin,
Beauty's not just a pretty face,
Beauty shines from the soul within!
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Then it falls to us to be aware
To look for it in one's character
And not in the body they wear.
The beauty of a soul,
Will never lead you astray,
For it's as good as gold,
And doesn't fade by the day!
Beauty's more than what's portrayed,

Go beyond the boundaries
Of your imagination!
Embrace your destiny
And reach your destination.
Stand as firm as the northern star,
Stay true to who you are,
Listen to the echoes of your heart,
And mind not the thorns in your path!
This life is yours and yours alone,
Your dreams are your salvation!
Not anyone else's to bemoan,
Not a crime or an aberration!
This is your time to shine!
Your chance to be happy!
Have your best wishes in mind,
And set out on your journey.
Believe in the strength of your own heart,
However hard the battle seems.
You're stronger than you think you are,
Never give up on your dreams.
If all the world is just a stage
With actors playing different roles,
Why should mine be filled with rage?
Ripping to pieces, my fragile soul...
If I could choose my destiny,
I would give up all this frustration.
I could be a better version of me,
One who would live up to all expectations!
Alas! I know it's not possible!
Not even what's best,
But I fear I may crumble,
Under the weight of this test.
I demand not emeralds or rubies,
I need no fame or money,
But perhaps a light reprieve
From what threatens to subdue me!
If you can hear my plea,
Know the desperation of my plight,
I'm certain you'll see,
The obvious outcome of this fight!
