Ever opened your eyes
And recognized wrong from right
Ever closed your eyes
When looking towards the sunlight
Ever stood for a moment
Thought to yourself my life is a lie!
Ever woke up disoriented
Thought to yourself 'who the hell am I?'
Ever reviewed your past
Though to yourself 'I wasted my life!'
Ever recalled a dumb decision
Thought to yourself 'end me with that knife!'
Ever felt so dark
When everything was so bright
Ever felt so ugly
You wished everyone to lose their sight
Ever felt so courage
You wanted to conquer and thrive
Ever felt so discouraged
You wanted to throw it all and hide
Ever seen two lovers
Against the world they fight
Ever felt so lonely
You wanted to lay down and die
Ever been so conflicted
Your days turned into nights
Ever felt so happy
Your black turned into white
Ever loved someone so deeply
The thought of it makes you want to cry
Ever loved something so discreetly
The sight of it makes you want to fly
Ever seen true beauty
You wanted to see what's inside
