All this talk about summer love

And cherry lips and golden skin

But no one ever talks about loving

When the skies are dull and lifeless

When the trees shiver

When the wind screams your name

Let me tell you about loving

When the rain is pounding

Against your rooftop

As he wraps his arms around your shivering body
And leans in

Let me tell you about loving

when you feel snug

Even when it's frigid

Because that one person
To you
Is home
