I'll wear your friendship
around my finger,
she'll wear your promise on
her neck.
My thoughts may linger,
but I just thought I'd check.
If I were to flee,
would you be there to catch me?

My guard has fallen down,
will you break what's
inside?
On my head sits a crown,
a crown of snide.

But you, your heart of gold,
so strong I'd shatter with a
touch.
With your brain so bold,
and that smile I love so,
much.
You managed to break me,
something you can't see.

With your friendship on my
hand,
I will pass without a glance.
Though I yearn for the
chance,
to be something grand.
