Chris' POV

I could still smell Athena so that means she's in the pack territory. I ran outside and shifted into my dark brown wolf, Cole. He ran through the forest and kept talking to me, saying really sexual things. I had to shut him up when I heard footsteps. He slowly lurked around behind a tree and peeked through. Mate. She was laying, face down. My wolf whimpered and slowly approached her. He snuggled closely and licked her face, making her scrunch her nose. She had blood all over her arms and legs and he licked it off. She woke up a bit as Cole was lifting her on his back. Holding onto his fur, we went home. I went back to the tree and shifted.

"I'm sorry," she woke up and winced in pain, "I shouldn't have left," she cried as I sat beside her, rubbing her back,

"Baby, I regret what I did earlier. I'm such a bad fucking mate. I don't deserve you," I wiped some dirt off of her cheek, "Do you want a bath?" she nodded her head and we head to the bathroom.

"Can you umm... help me?" her face turned bright red and she bit her lip,

"Like- wash you? Yeah, um. Certainly," I turned the tap on as she undressed. I looked up at her with love and lust. Her body was completely jaw dropping, "You're so damn beautiful," 

"Oh," she smiled and stepped into the tub. The water slowly turned red as I ran soap over her soft skin,

"I'll be right back. I have to get you some clothes," I kissed her forehead and walked to John's room. Knock knock.

"Come in!" he shouted from inside. I walked in and noticed Kat, John's mate, standing at the bathroom door,

"Uhm. Athena needs some underwear. She doesn't have any," I rubbed my neck as Kat ran towards her dresser,

"When can I meet her? Is she pretty? She must be!" She handed me a handful of clothes and closed the door, "Byyeeee," she chanted. I walked back to my room and saw her sitting on a chair by the window, only in a towel. Her face went red,

"I have some clothes for you," I placed the clothes on the bed, "They might be too big," 

"T-thanks," she took the clothes and waited until I turned around, "Uh... Chris, these are a little... revealing," I turned around and saw her wearing a very lacy set of underwear.

"Shit. I'm sorry, I didn't know," 

"It's okay, I'll just throw the other clothes on,"

I think I was starting to fall in love with her. She held everything in my life together, making everything right. She was such a goddess to me, perfect. She was resting in my arms as we watched The Exorcism. Her hands were wrapped around my biceps as her face was tucked behind a blanket. As the girl jumped from behind, Athena flinched and buried her face in my shoulder. I laughed and she punched my shoulder, "Ow," I joked,

"Shh!" she hissed. I kissed her cheek, then the corner of her mouth. She turned her head and held the back of my head as her lips gently made contact with mine. I perched her on my lap and kept her close to me, causing her to gasp softly against my lips. I slid my fingers up her shirt. She divided her lips for access and I accepted. She tasted like vanilla ice cream. She pulled away and left me wanting more, "I'm sorry, but I can't do this. Not yet," her lips were pink and swollen,

"It's okay, baby. I understand that you need time," she let out a pitiful smile and set on my chest. We laid there, watching movies until two then I remarked that she was asleep. I brought her to my room and placed her carefully upon my bed. I converted into my typical slacks, boxers, and laid down alongside her. The hair on her face moved slightly with every breath. I went to sleep happy. That was the first time we kissed and she tasted amazing, leaving me wanting more. From the first time I've seen her body, to now, she's changed. In a good way. Her head was tucked under my chin as we fell asleep.
