I stared at the crystal water. The lake was huge and the moonlight was reflecting off of it.

"I guess Ylisse was always this pretty...It's almost as pretty as that land."

I sighed and stared up at the night sky. The stars seemed to sparkle.

"Just like her eyes..."

I shook my head. I can't-no. I shouldn't think about her. I left her a long time ago. So why? Why am I still thinking about her? She was  a thief, an Assassin of the highest rank. Well...She was only highest rank due to her status, but even still. She left the land in search of her Father and her Father-

"Oh no," I whispered. 

"She's going to be after King Leo!"

I cursed under my breath. "I knew I shouldn't have left. I knew this would happen! I need to get the others and-"

I suddenly felt something pressed up to my back. It was sharp and pointy. There was no doubt about it. It was a sword pressed up against my back. I dreaded this moment for a long time. I didn't want to see her. I didn't want to see them. But all that running was for nothing. She had found me...

"We finally meet again Niles."
